Stray Kids continues to gift us with things we didn't know we wanted. And they've gone global and so incorporating foreign language into their music (which isn't exactly new but this feels intentionally next level, intentional). As an English speaker, I have appreciated (spoiled, really) with the level of English incorporated into their Korean (and Japanese). We also had French, now Spanish -- I feel like there are others but can't think of them right now. I feel like having gone so global, we're going to see more of this type of integration and I'm loving it.
For me, it's perfect. They are going for an almost redebut to expand and reach a wider audience. It's just enough Stray Kids style and mainstream for mass appeal nearing the end of summer. Especially a lighter listen coming after strong albums like ROCK-STAR and 5-STAR. This album too has a good mix of signature Stray Kids style music ranging from soft to club banger. I hope this brings them the even greater success they are aiming for. Congratulations Stray Kids, you've done it again!❤️
Plus, short songs are currently favored by the algorithm because of the prominence of short form content. And the marvel promo is obviously part of this Stray Kids audience expansion.
