I respect Stray Kids for the fact that they always try themselves in new genres, and do not confine themselves to the genre in which they are comfortable, as many K-pop groups unfortunately do.
Charlie Puth is NOT a good artist, maybe a good writer at best. But that also depends on the music taste of every person. As a singer he has barely any hit song worldwide. The only hit songs i can remember were "We don't talk anymore" and "Attention" from a few years ago and i would put them in the categorie American Trash Pop.
It seems to me the idea of MV is to show that for the sake of love, a choice is made between a familiar and long life without a soul and a new world with a short and difficult life full of love. This is an analogy with the Little Mermaid on the contrary, so there is a lot of water, symbolising the connection with another world, the world of water with a long life without love, which the guys are ready to leave. The last frame is very symbolic. And Lee Know one withstood the test.

For more of how incredible they are here, you should definitely check out the live video, the SKZ version, it adds a few rap verses and it gives every member an opportunity to shine. It's amazing in the way only live recordings can be. The choreo is really good, Lee Know mentioned in the INTRO video that he chose from different ideas presented to them. I find myself copying the "ah-I lose my breath" part most of the times I listen to this song lol Maybe you can check out the practice video? That's the best way to see the choreo with no distractions.
