I have a trick for golden mine as prospector, put a blue(i think It was red??) magnet down the stairs, climb them, and wait for the Hunter to climb, the Hunter will fall and they'll have to climb them again It buys you some time
Yes, also it's the same with any stun characters, a single stun from enchantress does the same, prisoner stun does it also, so does most stun character's abilities

Mechanics aren't stupid (well, mostly) if they know the spawn points, and they know hunter spawned far away from them, they will put the bot at the cipher machine and go find themself other one at the very start of the game, if they don't know the spawns, or know that hunter spawned near them, they will just hide their bot and go decode cipher with main body, if you will find them first, and if they'll kite you for like 5 second, they can use their bot while sitting on rocket chair, and decode. If survivors won't rescue them right away, their cipher rush might be a biiig problem for hunter.
But you need to find the bot to kill them high tier mechanics are very good at hiding there bots and they can finish one cipher if they get caught sitting on chair or mechanic can at least kite 40seconds plus 1 cipher isnt bad and mechanic is not slow as wilding...... Wilding debuff is - 30% and mechanics is 100% and bot 130%
Here's a tip for ya'll hunters never pursuit a prospector on the big boat cus you'll get 5 cipher kited, i main prospector ,and yes you should go for another survivor.
can’t believe you kited a Violinist through 5 cyphers. I’m gonna try to kite a Vio as Seer but he’ll be much harder to kite ‘cause he’s Manticore tier.
I think many hunter players are doing so I'm also a hunter main but since I have been getting bad ping constantly since the last patch I started playing Patricia and perfumer can't play any hunter cuz bad ping :/

taking from gate is an asshole move. like, as a hunter main i find it so fucking petty. just let them go, it's not rank, they were right there, and deserved a win if they kited you for 5 ciphers.

I din't know if u actually asked for everything or just the magnet thing but there u go 1- Magnets, can attract or repel the hunter depending on the polarity of the launched magnet and the polarity you carry. It also works between the hunter and another survivor, if they both have magnets, the same with the survivors and you. 2- Thanks to the magnets, your percentage to fail a calibration increases 3- Every so often when passing near a cipher machine you get a speed bust for a few seconds 4- He can get up a little faster than other survivors when he is knocked down
