ISLE OF ARRAN - SCOTLAND IN MINIATURE - WILD CAMPING & BACKPACKING
Late in 2022 we started planning an adventure to the Isle Of Arran watch along to see our plans unfold over 4 days and 3 nights of wildcamping in the valleys forests and summits of Arran.
In this video we summit the highest peak on the island Goat Fell sleep amongst the trees in the thick forests and embrace the epic views from the valley floors . Find my GPS route in the link below all accurately tracked on Garmin Fenix 7x Solar Sapphire.

Arran is an incredible island, i live directly across from it on the Ayrshire coast.
It really was beautiful I will be back to walk the coast !
This is now on my list of many places to go in Scotland, the spot on that second night was outstanding mate, lovely video.

Fantastic video. Arran is wonderful and you captured so beautifully. Can I ask what your tent is please? Also, can I ask where that beautiful bridge is? Is it on the logging road up to Goatfell? Where does the logging road begin? I hike the path up to Goatfell but I'd love to see the bridge. Thanks

Proper 🔥 I came across this while browsing on my TV (something of which I never do!). So glad, I got the opportunity to watch this on the big screen. I really like the background commentary along with the atmospheric music, plus the variety of shots (that I know take alot of thought and patience). Alot of brain power has gone into this and you have invested alot into this! Fair play mate and ATB 🙏🏔🥾

Some questions if poss!
1. How do you find the akto for space (head room with winds)?
2. Did you shoot any on a mirrorless apsc/full frame?
3. What drone do you use? (Thinking of getting dji mini 3 pro)
4. Did you record with the wireless go for all audio?
5. Was this shot in 60fps?

@@HikerBobOfficial the akto is great but headroom is an issue I'm under 6ft so it's not so bad for me but it's one of the oldest models for good reason it's similar in size to the abisko lite 1. I shoot all video on go pro hero 11 the drone footage in this video was all shot by my friend who is linked in the bio but I've recently invested in a dji mini Pro 3 and I couldn't be happier. I mix the audio up the wireless go is very very good at cutting wind but sometimes I like a bit of wind noise so I use the gopro mod mic sometimes too.
I'm not going to be there Saturday I honestly didn't even know it was happening !! Maybe we will.meet on the Fells one day 👊🏻
