I’m glad I came across this video. I’m 59 and I’m getting bypass end of September in Turkey. It showing me just how tough it’s going to be. Thank you for my reality kick. Omg I love baklava, how could you resist.
Thank you for sharing your experience! I love the commentary from you and you husband, you can tell how much he adores and cares about you! Looking to go through the surgery myself april this year. Will definitely be checking in to hear more about your journey!
I'm so glad I found your channel! You have such an uplifting spirit. I started my weight loss RUclips Channel this past November (2022), and I've been searching for other RUclipsrs who have been through the same thing and have great advice and knowledge. NEW SUB!! Cheering you on!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Charla, thank you for your lovely message! Our journeys started at the same time, new sub to your channel also as I would love to see your journey! Wishing you the best of luck xx❤️🙏🏼
@Autumn’s Vlogs gastric sleeve has a faster recovery time. It's just cutting a part of your stomach off so you eat less. Gastric bypass it rerouting your stomach to one of your intestines which has a much longer recovery time, more risks, and really only recommended by doctors for the elderly or people who do not or cannot move that much, in this way they can loose weight seeing as they cannot go out and walk or exercise themselves. The only thing you'll have after gastric sleeve in terms of scars are a couple incision marks which is where the surgeon enters with his equipment to cut 80% of your stomach off.
You are such an amazing person. Your video made me so emotional and makes me love you more and more. So proud of the beautiful woman you have become xx
Any complications? I’m having a rough time deciding if I wanna go through with it or just push my self and discipline myself in the gym… I’ve never had any surgeries non kind of scared of going down and having something go wrong or have some sort of complications
Hi. No complications thank god. Checking reviews and doing research is key. Definitely don’t rush to make a decision and do what feels right for you. If you’re not ready for surgery l, try natural means first and see if you can reach your goals first. Best of luck!
Hi. Hope you’re well hun. I only took the week of my surgery off. I then worked from home for around 2 weeks (as I also caught Covid). I definitely would recommend taking at least 2 weeks off though. X
One piece of advice - it WILL get better and easier! Definitely follow the advice of your own surgeon/dietician. I found the purée stage the hardest but it’s over so quickly so be patient and hang on in there!
I love how involved your partner is, the questions and everything were really helpful. He did good 👌🏾👌🏾
