Ian, heartily agreed and I would write direct to Steph if I dared but we psychologists can be as boring as hell. You and the Hubnuts are in support and that is priceless.
I only pop in and out of your videos for some reason, but watched the triumph one yesterday and thought I was watching the wrong video as you look so amazing and very pretty, blimmin wish I was a hundred years younger I would be giving you boyfriend a bit of competition lol. A very big well done for such a honest video, nearly bought a silly old biker to a few tears xx
One hundred percent mate, these imbeciles wouldn't dream of saying boo to a goose in a bar but spout nasty bs about others from the safety of their front room.
@@idriveaclassic I know it's easy for us to say - we're not the ones they were directed at and would feel exactly the same on the receiving end - but rhe following has to be said to reinforce the fact it's not ok or clever to behave like this. - They're the ones that end up looking like complete knobs and not you. Most IDAC viewers are here because they like you and your content - They're probably insecure and if their way of feeling better involves provoking a rise out of you then they need help - I bet they couldn't do what you do, both in terms of the channel and surgery - Why are they spending the limited time they have on this earth doing something so useless?
Hey Steph, I must be honest I never thought about your weight when watching the videos I just loved watching a young person talking about classic cars, also another thing that drew me to your channel is your look, very retro! It must have been hard for you reading disgusting comments, and I always feel those people have more issues going on with themselves which might be a tool to use in the future if you get a crappie comment. All I can say is you're an amazing person and speaking for myself, it warms my heart when I see your passion for old classics and if you could bottle your passion you would be rich beyond belief. Thanks for the upload and all the best wishes for the future. And Happy New Year..
I admire your honesty Steph, and am sorry to hear the amount of pain you went through. I can't believe how vile and cruel some people can be, especially when they are safely hidden behind a keyboard! Shame on them, and I hope karma catches up with them. You're looking fantastic, and wish 2023 will be filled with nothing but positive, happy energy for you! 🎉🤗
I know my issues are nothing compered to yours but, as a disabled 40 year old male, I struggle with confidence and this video sort of highlights that for me. I had groin surgery in 1989 and on my legs in 1994 to help me walk. I understand the emotions that come with this and it feels dreadful that your thoughts are that people laugh and point or wispar, but you are what and who you are and no one can take that away. So thankyou for the video and it helped me ease my depression. Wish you luck and happy, SAFE driving.
Steph you are an amazing woman in a man's world (the car industry/business). I admire your confidence and your way of making classic car test drive videos. The woman/feminist way of doing it is so welcome😍. Even though I can understand and feel with your strugle you really shine Steph! I wish you all the best on your personal journey. Keep on doing classic car tests cause you are the best😍
You always looked amazing Steph, but it definitely feels better not to be carrying excess. If the last 12 months journey makes you a happier person then all of it was worth it. Congratulations on this post and on your very entertaining channel.
This has to be one of the most refreshingly honest videos i have ever seen. You are such a terrific communicator and, from all the other comments, reaching out to a wide audience that needs your support as much as the dupport you have received from them. Keep it up young lady and my very best wishes for your future. XX
Thank you for your contribution to keeping the interest in vintage cars alive. You have always looked good. Being from the states, I was not particularly interested in English cars, but I was hooked after I saw one of your videos and was amazed at the knowledge and genuine passion you have for the history of these cars. Thank you very much. Good wishes on your healthful journey. My brother had the same surgery. It helped him tremendously. Do not listen to the haters. They must be truly frustrated individuals that will never deserve the respect , admiration and loyal followers that you enjoy. Thank you
This is tremendous work. Honest without being self indulgent, brave without being self pitying and most of all, tremendously helpful to the many thousands of people watching it over the years who have experience with body dysmorphic tendencies. I can say that because I'm one of them. Well done Steph, you have my deepest respect and by the way, you look cool!
Hello Steph, I'm so sorry to hear about the horrible comments that you received, there really are some nasty individuals around. You're a lovely young lady and I wish you all the very best, happy new year to you! X
I can’t believe how heartfelt and honest this video is, yet you manage to retain your sense of humour! You’re inspirational Steph, and it’s so lovely that you’ve taken the time to share your experience for people who might be in the same sitch you were in 2021! You’re a sweetheart ❤ Keep up the good work and keep being you 💪🏻
I've watched and enjoyed many of your videos over the past few years. Today, I became a subscriber because you're a genuine, honest and beautiful person.
I have had no teeth for three years and as a performer (singer) my career and my life was over, but an anonymous person has given the money for dentures - soooooo grateful! Many of us only survive because of the kindness of others. Even kind words can help us through another day.
I wish I could like this video more than once! So many strong messages about what it takes to face up to everyday challenges - I particularly love the one about having compassion for yourself. Go well into the new year!
What an interesting, moving and informative video Steph, thank you. Your post operation experiences are a bit of a revelation for me; I never realised the physical and mental after effects of such surgery. So often the image we have of ourselves is shaped by others, well done for liberating yourself from that mindset. Best wishes for the future, and I hope you go from strength to strength in all areas of your life.
If it matters what an elderly, long happily married guy who is interested in older cars around the world thinks, you have introduced me to a number of vehicles that I'd never heard of in the American Midwest. While I'm very happy for you, I was never in any way "turned off" by your appearance, but always impressed by your knowledge. All the best to you.
Steph. I enjoyed this video more than I expected. (I’m here for the cars.). I found old you quite delightful on screen and I saw your weight in the same way I saw your hair do and your dress sense. It was a style. Your style. You can change it; it’s yours. You own it. I found your honesty refreshing and uplifting. Im sure you are going to continue to recover and strengthen up physically and emotionally. Keep being you.
Oh Steph I'm so sorry you have suffered from horrible people sending you vile comments. Thanks for sharing your story, and what a wonderful lady your Auntie is. I'm sure your honesty will help people who are considering the same surgery. Wonderful that you are feeling much happier and the surgery has been so worthwhile.
2 comments . Regarding the motoring stuff it is amazing , love the gold standard content of what you do. Regarding this video I had always heard that the kind of treatment you have had is no quick fix and the work is ongoing . Very best wishess to you . Carry on being megga
Steph, I've watched your journey on Twitter, and I honestly think you're an incredibly brave person. Taking charge of your life when it feels like it's falling apart is the hardest thing ever, but you did it and stuck with it, and been open and honest about how it's affected you good and bad. Well done for not giving up and sticking around so the rest of us can keep living vicariously through you driving those awesome classics!
The nasty comments say more about the individual making them than the person they're talking about Steph. You just keep being you. Auntie Ash, you little STAR!! From what I'm seeing here, I think you saved Steph's life. No question. Happy new year and wishing you both all you would hope for. Norm 🥰🥰xx
It’s just awful that some people are horrible enough to leave hate comments. Well done for being brave enough to get the surgery and have a happy new year!
LOVE YOU STEPH. Saddening to hear that it was been a painful journey to get here on New Years Eve, but you look fabulous and delighted that you have met someone who can treat you like a Queen (and seemingly goes to Motor Shows with you!)
Being one of your hosts in Malaysia, and also hearing what you have shared there and then and in this video, I was really worried about dietary issues or restrictions when you were in Malaysia, and I was really relieved and happy that you have enjoyed our food and shops. And I want to put this out there that Steph is such an amazing and bright person that it is such an honour to bring you around in Malaysia. Your outward appearance should NEVER. I repeat, NEVER be the indicator of how you are as a person. You are my inspiration as well to work harder on my business and myself after a traumatic accident that nearly cost my life. You absolutely deserve the success and happiness you are having right now and in future. You are, right now an absolute star and a celebrity, a friend, an inspiration, a sister and definately such a brilliant and strong person. I am only wishing you all the best for your future to come!
That was a brave video to do Steph - your journey has been incredibly brave. It’s a great shame that trolls can’t see beyond appearances - your car videos have always been very engaging, entertaining and informative. It’s great to see you at the other side - and I must say you’re looking great - so I hope that your recovery continues, and please, please don’t stop the great classic car content! Best wishes for 2023!
I hate that people were so cruel to you. There are a lot of ignorant people out there. Your aunt Ash is a saint, but you were the one that had to go through the mill. This will be a great life changer for you.
Such an amazing story. It is incredible that you have found the strength to share this with the world. And it is so sad that people were leaving such horrible comments.
Steph Steph Steph Steph Steph ! That was BRILLIANT ! I'm a 68 year old man and am SO PROUD of you. Your journey has been amazing and now look at the result ! The video is / was obviously good therapy for you and I'm so pleased for you. To be honest, I never really noticed your weight deminishing, but when you put up the 'before' shots - WOW, stunning. I could go on for ages, but won't, but I will say we are ALL so pleased for you, and Fred too - how lucky is he ! Life can only get better every day, and we are with you all the way. HAPPY NEW YEAR Steph, and we're looking forward to all your future videos. Take special care, always 🙂 X X X X
I have always enjoyed watching your videos, your taste in cars and clothes coincides with mine, but this video has taken you a much higher level in my estimation. Very impressed with your honesty and you look fantastic. Now I just have to learn to drive and get my own Morris. Way to go,girl.
Wow - just, wow. What an incredibly brave, honest, informative, alternately sad & happy but ultimately inspirational video. You're looking so much happier now than you did just a year ago which is great to see. Wishing you and yours everything you would wish yourselves for 2023 & beyond!
So so proud of you for this, and so happy to see you happy too! A lot of fantastic advice in this video that's not just related to losing weight too. "Comparison is the thief of joy" is definitely a quote I'll be carrying into the new year!
Hope you don’t mind me saying this Steph, but you have always looked lovely, I really enjoy your content and knowledge about cars. You’ve travelled a very courageous journey, anyone who would leave comments like that reflects on their own levels of self worth. I know for a fact, names hurt. Much love to you Steph
Steph. You made my cry, Sorry to hear of the communication of the small part of your digital audience that don't she you for the amazing women you are and always have been. So touched by this chip and can I wise you a wonderful 2023. One Great youtuber. Thanks Martin x
Isn't it sad you had to filter through all those abusive comments? Especially sad for the posters that is, in that they were so inadequate they had to spew their frustrated bile in your direction. You have done the right thing for you, your loved ones and your future - not them. Your former appearance was none of their business, nor indeed mine, which is why I would never have referenced it. You have advanced skills in the fields of car design and mechanics, film presenting and editing and - it transpires - dressmaking! I'd like to bet they do nothing other than just watch videos all day! Anyway, I wish you well with the remainder of your journey and look forward to seeing you donning the obligatory "blue jeans" when you reach your destination. Have a very happy new year!
Steph, you are an absolute star 🌟 Your honesty is so refreshing and your courage is amazing 👏 I hope 2023 will be a fantastic year for you and your subscribers ❤️
Well done Steph. Weight can be such a huge internal struggle and as someone who lost 3 stone, i know how hard it can be to not just be motivated but also keep that motivation and not break down. I know this video will help many people out there who are, or will be going through the same and this video will help encourage them. Thank you
Hi Steph thankyou for your exceptional delivery of a very personal experience that you underwent. You have a lovely aura around you . I heard you on you youtube before I saw you.. ( I were cooking dinner). And said to myself ",David this women has researched her topic and has earned the right to be listened to". I paused the youtube made a cuppa tea and sat and took it in.well done Steph. I lost my wife & friend of 50 years (medical misadventure) ,don't panic she's irreplaceable Her method of communication was such that she knew that whomever she spoke with understood what my good wife was imparting to them. Well done Steph all the best & Happy New Year. From David in NewZealand.
I really do appreciate this video. I myself am struggling with weight and hearing your story does give some perspective and hope that I can make things better for myself. I hope your journey leads you to more happiness and success! Also, love the channel! Getting insight on the history and cultural context on classic cars from someone outside my country is always fun. The similarities and differences in how cars were received and where they fit in the culture is fascinating.
I've always enjoyed your videos, but have often seen some fairly troubling comments regarding your appearance - some downright creepy. Even though lots of people give really positive feedback, those negative & creepy comments are hard to forget. So well done for keeping going at all! Congratulations on all the positive steps forward & for having the conviction to take action & speak out. It's so heartbreaking to hear of anyone at such a low ebb, so honest stories of recovery are so vital for the benefit of others. I'm a Vicar, & the thing that drew me into this life is all about supporting & validating people, whatever their life philosophy - your story is so encouraging, so thank you again for sharing it.
I watch and enjoy all your car videos - they are interesting and informative, but I never realised about your personal struggles. I’m so impressed by your actions and by the bravery of your brutal honesty in sharing the personal issues of your journey to help others in similar circumstances. Well done, you have my deepest respect and complete admiration. Best wishes for the rest of your journey - and keep sharing the excellent car videos too!
good on you, Steph, for being so upfront and honest. Like others have mentioned, I come here to see your interesting and informative reviews of classic cars but this was just as interesing. Looking forward to seeing more in 2023. It's going to be a good year :)
Steph I think you are amazing and always have been. Your honesty is a tonic to me having suffered with mental health issues for a number of years. I did get emotional listening to you and remembering where I was and am now. Like you there are more good days than bad and I try to use the strategies given to me during my therapy sessions. I wish you every success and happiness in your personal and professional life and hope your channel and life continue on an upward curve. Best wishes for 2023. Dave x
I very rarely comment but you are so brave to share your story. I obviously only know you through your videos but have always found you knowledgeabl and entertaining and I really enjoy the cars and your opinion. Good luck and i hope you have even more better days to mash the not so good ones.
Hi Steph. Really important vlog you have made for your channel. Such a brave thing too. I cannot believe how vile people are on these platforms but the majority of people still are decent and can admire someone that has a passion, created a channel to share that passion and has a style all of her own, which takes courage to stand out and be different. Always followed you, keep going and all the best to you Steph. X
Hello Steph. Ibrahim in Canterbury here. I'm watching this now and literally have tears in my eyes. Having met you in person twice, you are such a lovely, interesting and intelligent person and a very kind and gentle person. You certainly don't deserve those nasty judgemental comments. I've been subscribed to your channel for quite a while now, since before COVID and have loved watching your videos and your cheery manner. I have huge respect and admiration for your knowledge of cars and not once did it ever occur to me to judge you on your appearance. And it's been truly the icing on the cake to meet you in person twice and I'm sure mum and I will meet you again at more car shows in the future, especially the two annual NEC ones. As a dual Brit Canadian who sort of got "stranded" back in Blighty far longer than I had planned, it made me realise that there is a great deal to like back here and I've since made the decision to spend far more time back in the UK now, versus my other homeland of Vancouver, as much as I love it there too. Together with that, there are certain key things that make me love being back here and without sounding patronising, I can honestly say that knowing that mum and I will meet you at future cars shows means something to me. It's that connection between your videos and meeting you in person that's one of the little things that make me feel at home back here. I'm not sure if I've explained all this very well but it's lovely to see your videos throughout the year and then go to car shows and meet you in person. As for your procedure, Thank you so much for making this video and huge respect and admiration to you for what you have achieved! You should be very very proud of yourself and hold your head up high. And now I will go back to watching the rest of this video. Happy New Year to you and your family. 🇬🇧 🇨🇦
What a great video Steph. You really nailed it. A frank, and at times very moving, account of a real person's life trials, and how she beat them. This should be compulsory watching for anyone considering gastric surgery. Good luck with your continuing journey. It's always a struggle but I can see that you've more than got what it takes to carry on.
Fascinating video. Well done. I've known several people who've had gastric surgery and I was aware of some of the issues, not because they talked about it so much as that's what went down and eventually the details came out. I enjoy your car channel, that's what brought me to you, and now I feel I'll enjoy them even more having gotten to know you a little more. Honesty granted; I appreciate the clarity of your delivery. As an American I know very little about British and European cars and you have a great mix of research, historical explanation, joy of the cars, and your channel is completely different than the rest that are out there. (As we say in New York) you did a good thing.
Thank you so much for sharing this, Steph. You were fabulous before and you're fabulous now, but I'm so glad you're happier. Your ability to give the warts'n'all experience shows how much your confidence has grown. Truly inspirational.
Bless you Steph. You've had a hard journey and are doing so well. Thank you for your honest account. We love the cheerful enthusiasm you are able to share. You're inspirational. Happy New year to you and yours
Well done girl you look great . My x is going shortly for sleeve I have shared your video with him to give him insight to what’s involved. Also your car videos take me back to my child hood yes am old lol. Good luck and ignore the negative people in this world 😊
Thanks for sharing your journey with us, I'm so glad to hear that you're feeling much better! Your bravery and strength are an inspiration to all of us.
Well done Steph! This is an excellent video and top marks for doing it. Bariatric surgery is not an easy option, regardless of what some ignorant people might think, but I'm really happy that it is working for you. Keep up the good work!
That sounds like quite the journey you are on Steph, interesting to hear what you've been through so far. I wish you all the best for the rest of your journey and very glad to hear you are enjoying even more vintage clothing, your style has always been superb 😀
Wonderful video. Honest and informative. The message about self compassion and the power of words to build up people or hurt and destroy is so true. Have a fantastic year ahead with your lovely man.
Steph how wonderfully honest of you to show us your video it takes a lot to be this frank and power to you for it I think you look great and what a wonderful person your aunt ash is helping you like she did amazing 👍
I'm so glad that you're where you are now, Steph. It's clearly been a tough journey, mentally and physically and you experienced the lowest of lows. It's a relief to see you back, the classic car world (and the world in general) would be a poorer place without you.
First of all Steph, you look amazing and well done for losing such a terrific amount of weight! I LOVE your no holds barred, totally honest and open approach to all of what you have gone through, you should be extremely proud of making such a great decision for you I hope that 2023 is a brilliant year for you x
Hey Steph, haven't watched the whole video yet but i appreciate you take others with you on that journey. I startet watching your videos a long time ago and last year you Instagram storys have shown your weight loss. I never struggeled with weight myself but you brought that stigmatized topic to a lot of car guys that otherwise wouldn't have thought about it or felt maybe ashamed or similar. I love your content, it encouraged me in the past to drive my old cars more often. Lots of love from a young german Guy from the internet - sorry if i don't find the best/most fitting english words🙈. ♥
Thankyou Steph for sharing all you've been through. You are a brave and beautiful person that so many of us appreciate for all the time and energy you put into your channel that all us car crazy people love. You're looking great. So appreciate your positivity on life! Wishing you a great New Year ahead and can't wait for more of your classic car adventures! Cheers!
You have a lot of friends and fans here, myself included. We like your honesty, the thoroughness of your presentations, your appreciation of classic designs, and your approachable, warm demeanor. Brava!
Steph, Thank you so much for sharing and being openly honest, I admire your honesty. Been watching the channel since the start and one thing I really admired is that you have such a bubbly personality and came across confident. Having met you at the Motorist at the first Hubnut Social back in 2021 that same bubbly personality and confidence was showing as you guided people round the workshop! Wishing you and Freddie all the best for 2023 and thank you so much the fun and entertaining videos over the last year.
Hi Steph, You are amazing, I moved to Canada about 16 years ago and one of the things I miss are the old cars. I used to have a 1970 1600E Ford Cortina which I loved, would be great if you ever get an opportunity to road test one. You keep me in touch with the classic cars and your enthusiasm is infectious. Thank you for keeping my interest alive and for making peoples lives just a bit brighter. Please just ignore the the insulting comments, you are worth so much more than they are. Take care of yourself. Cheers Graham
Your courage and honesty is refreshing, Steph. Some ppl have totally no bounderies to call this names to an other person , that say way more about them tham they realize. Have a magical 2023 and we all looking forward to see more vlogs. 😘
Started watching idriveaclassic for the cars - and your unique approach to describing them then driving them. To be honest your size didn't matter - but the internet is full of horrible people and so sad that you were on the receiving end of so much hate. Thanks for your honesty in this video - you are an inspiration and I'm so glad you are in a much better place. You are a lovely person and I wish you all the best.
Bless you Steph you are an amazing woman, I know about pain sweetheart believe me, have followed you from the start on utube, your love of cars quirky, old and not so old grips me as your honest reports are fascinating i have learnt so much! wishing you a fantastic new year! all my very best! x
I bowed out after 1 minute because I have a habit of passing out when hearing about operations and hospitals but I hope you achieve all your goals as your honesty, hard work and enthusiasm is inspirational.
Good on you girl. I thought that once you had the operation it was all plain sailing from there. Your a star. I hope you and your boyfriend live a long and happy life. Sending you love.
Steph, so well done, good for you and thank you so much for your honesty. I have watched your videos for a few years and never gave your weight a second thought as your video content was and is excellent. I rarely leave comments on RUclips but this time had to make comment as you are truly inspirational. Very touched by your achievements!!
Steph, it is amazing how cruel people can be, but often those who are have their own issues and need to build their own self-image up by tearing others down. Initially, I wasn't going to watch this video as I thought it wasn't relavent to your channel and more a personal situation, but as you are always capable of telling a great story, I was mesmerized by your experiences that led to this decision....surgery is never any easy decision. Honestly, I've always loved your presentations, and your physical appearance (although always lovely and unique!) is your own business....I'm here to enjoy your experiences and the recitation of your car knowledge and individual stories. I don't think you look better or worse. The dramatic change only shows dramatic growth in you as you proceed in your life. This channel is an example of the greatness of the Internet (sharing positive and enjoyable experiences with like-minded individuals) to some of the Internet's most dysfunctional elements. I can unwarranted comments directed by annonymous and the most depraved, cruel, dank basement dwellers can draw negative elements due to their toxicity. This is a fun place for escape.....we don't need them whatsoever!!!!! Love ALWAYS triumphs over evil, and though it is a sad sign of our society, I am VERY grateful that you made what you consider the right decision, and that probably the best car history channel on the Internet survives in tact going from strength to strength. May you be fortunate to thrive with excellent physical and mental health, and continue contributing your interests and talent to your fanbase. You are a survivor, and the continuation of the channel underscores this trait. Cheers Steph, and may you continue your life journey in peace, tranquility, and happiness. You are a gentle soul, and I respect you greatly.
I admire this video, and the honesty contained within SO MUCH. Well done.
Thanks Ian and thanks to you and Carly for being so supportive ❤️❤️
Totally echo what Ian says
For once, I get to love a HubNut comment back! ❤️

" I always feel those people have more issues going on with themselves" - Oh, DEFINETLY.
Thanks so much ❤️❤️❤️
For someone who struggled with self esteem issues , this level of honesty is beyond brave .

Thanks Matt ❤️❤️

You’re an inspiration Steph, it takes a lot of Courage to make a video like this, well done! Proud of you!
Thanks Joe that’s really nice of you ❤️
Your aunt is amazing! Such a wonderful woman ❤ you seem healthy and happy and that’s all that matters ❤
Really pleased for you Steph. Looking great. Well done!
Thanks Chris! Can’t quite believe it.
Hello Steph, I'm so sorry to hear about the horrible comments that you received, there really are some nasty individuals around. You're a lovely young lady and I wish you all the very best, happy new year to you! X
Thanks Paul xx

Keep up the good work and keep being you 💪🏻
I've watched and enjoyed many of your videos over the past few years.
Aww that’s so lovely!!! I hope you’re singing every moment of the day and loving having your voice back ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@idriveaclassic Pity we're not in the same country - I'd love for you to drive my bright red 1987 Honda Civic hatchback (only 50k miles!).
I wish I could like this video more than once! So many strong messages about what it takes to face up to everyday challenges - I particularly love the one about having compassion for yourself. Go well into the new year!
Thank you! I think more compassion would make the world a much easier place to fumble through life in
What an interesting, moving and informative video Steph, thank you.
Yeah it was bloody testing 😂😂
Always found Steph inspirational. Even more so now.
Thanks Andy ❤️
Haha I’m here for the cars too but I thought, if people keep asking I’ll keep telling ☺️
Very brave lady with remarkable self awareness and clarity of thought. You deserve a wonderful life.
Norm 🥰🥰xx
Very brave video Steph. Your channel is great and one of the best car channels IMO.
Wow, thank you!
It’s just awful that some people are horrible enough to leave hate comments.
Well done for being brave enough to get the surgery and have a happy new year!
Thank you so much xx
LOVE YOU STEPH. Saddening to hear that it was been a painful journey to get here on New Years Eve, but you look fabulous and delighted that you have met someone who can treat you like a Queen (and seemingly goes to Motor Shows with you!)
Oh yeah. I am SO lucky!
You are so intelligent, brave beyond measure, and extremely gifted. You are also a great gift to us, your viewers. Thank you infinitely.
Massive respect to you Steph for doing this video. Hope you and everyone in the scene have a great 2023.
It’s been SO hard to record.
I've always thought that you are beautiful - big or not. And this brutally honest video makes some damn good points. Way to go, Steph.
Thanks David that’s so nice of you
Steph Steph Steph Steph Steph !
Thank you raising awareness!!! Don’t listen to the people that treated you badly your car videos are amazing!!
Well done for being so brave and honest with your story, Steph Hopefully this will help others in a similar position. So happy for you! 🤗
Thank you so much x
I have always enjoyed watching your videos, your taste in cars and clothes coincides with mine, but this video has taken you a much higher level in my estimation. Very impressed with your honesty and you look fantastic. Now I just have to learn to drive and get my own Morris. Way to go,girl.
Thanks so much Charlotte!!!
Wow - just, wow. What an incredibly brave, honest, informative, alternately sad & happy but ultimately inspirational video.
You're looking so much happier now than you did just a year ago which is great to see.
Wishing you and yours everything you would wish yourselves for 2023 & beyond!
Your a very courageous woman. Thank you for being open and honest about something very personal to you. 😘
So so proud of you for this, and so happy to see you happy too! A lot of fantastic advice in this video that's not just related to losing weight too. "Comparison is the thief of joy" is definitely a quote I'll be carrying into the new year!
It has been almost two years and you look amazing, healthy and very happy in your new car videos.
Thanks Steve you’re very kind x
One thing remains the same before & after your surgery is the fact you are a very talented presenter 👏
Steph, you are an absolute star 🌟 Your honesty is so refreshing and your courage is amazing 👏 I hope 2023 will be a fantastic year for you and your subscribers ❤️
Thank you Rod and I’m hoping for a brilliant year for you too x
You're an absolute hero Steph, wishing you the very best.
You have a lovely aura
around you .
Are you saved pastor?.
I have no idea who could write offensive comments on your videos, only inadequate people. For me, Your videos are the epitome of English retro style.
Thank you! Some people are just no lifers sadly
Thank you for watching despite it containing no car reviews hehe x
I really respect your courage and honesty Steph !! 👏 👍
People are awful at times. It’s shocked me because I’m lucky enough to have a whole raft of people in my life who would never behave like that
@@idriveaclassic
That's good to hear. Happy New year to you .
Wow! Much respect Steph for being so candid. I wish you all the best for 2023 & beyond.
Thank you x
My total admiration for you Steph, not only for achieving your weight loss, but for being publicly honest. Well done!
You're an inspiration Steph. So brave to go through what you did and such admirable honesty.
Thanks Steph, you are a brave person, before and now, hope you will continue your channel, which you do so well!!!!
What an amazing human being. Well done, onwards and upwards in 2023. Big Love xx
Thanks and a jolly 2023 to you too xx
Great video. I think a lot of people will benefit from your experience and honesty.
I hope so! Nobody was that honest with me.
Thank you for your story. And what a fantastic person is your aunti❤
Bless you Steph. You've had a hard journey and are doing so well. Thank you for your honest account. We love the cheerful enthusiasm you are able to share. You're inspirational. Happy New year to you and yours
Happy new year to you too darling x
Thanks Steve! I do love my clothing x
Oh she’s bloody amazing. I owe her my life x
I LOVE your no holds barred, totally honest and open approach to all of what you have gone through, you should be extremely proud of making such a great decision for you
I hope that 2023 is a brilliant year for you x
Well said Stephanie. So pleased to hear your in a stable relationship. The future for you looks bight ahead!
I’ve watched you for years Steph, and as a larger person myself, it’s inspirational to see you feeling good in your own skin ❤
Brava!
Steph,
Thank you so much for sharing and being openly honest, I admire your honesty.
😘
You too my lovely£
Started watching idriveaclassic for the cars - and your unique approach to describing them then driving them. To be honest your size didn't matter - but the internet is full of horrible people and so sad that you were on the receiving end of so much hate. Thanks for your honesty in this video - you are an inspiration and I'm so glad you are in a much better place. You are a lovely person and I wish you all the best.
A great video. Thanks for being so honest with us on your journey. Wishing you all the best for 2023 and beyond.
Thank you Richard! X
I think you have helped many with this post. I have watched you from the start I love your enthusiasm about cars and vintage.
Thank you my lovely
Bless you Steph you are an amazing woman, I know about pain sweetheart believe me, have followed you from the start on utube, your love of cars quirky, old and not so old grips me as your honest reports are fascinating i have learnt so much! wishing you a fantastic new year! all my very best! x
Aw happy new year Jason! X
What an amazing woman you are Steph..and what an awesome aunt too..thankyou for sharing your story ❤
I bowed out after 1 minute because I have a habit of passing out when hearing about operations and hospitals but I hope you achieve all your goals as your honesty, hard work and enthusiasm is inspirational.
Hey that’s ok! Sorry if I made you feel a bit *wiggles hand about*
@@idriveaclassic I bowed out very early just in case.I am fine when I get injured but hopeless around anyone else talking medical.
