Zero starts just because it doesn’t have ‘enough’ annoying safety aids that ANCAP requires carmakers to include in their cars. The ommision of center airbags (between drivers?) and seat belt pre-tensioners might also cause them to rate this car zero star. The lack of info on how they deduct points on these cars nowadays makes me less dependent on ANCAP ratings if I ever want to see vehicles safety performance.
No wonder can sell very cheap in Malaysia... Cut cost on the integrity of the body.. you can see on the oblique pole test and side impact... The damaged part is tooo deep.. hitting the occupant. If MG improve the integrity of the body... I don't think they can sell it below RM100K for IMPORT complete build up(CBU) unit.. At first I was fall in love and interested with this model.. With the 7 years drivetrain unlimited milage warranty. 5 years unlimited milage warranty. But when I saw the integrity of the car body... Nahh.. skip it
If is totally 0 ratings on safety. I don't think this model vehicle are allow to be on the showroom for sell and eventually on the road. A side ANCAP , there is many countries on their local road safety ministry department will also do safety on the road checks before allow it be out market . So, we consumer do hope the facts is accurate and this was just my personal view.

The MG five was rated (37 per cent) in Adult Occupant Protection crash testing which is the low of the lowest if your car was rated this, would you feel safe?
The MG5 scored 0 stars as it performed poorly in all 4 of our safety pillars, you can read more about it here: www.ancap.com.au/safety-ratings/mg/5/4bb20f
@ancapcrashtests your safety pillars are pretty shit though. Under these new pillars all the cars will get either 0 or 1 star overall rating, because no matter how good a car is in terms of safety it will still get 0 or 1 star in safety of the person it collides with. Will ultimately lead to Australians stop believing in your safety crap once they get to know how you rate the cars.
@@randombully3798 The current four pillars of ANCAP assessment have been in place since 2018, and since then, over 170 vehicle models have been rated. 151 of these (88%) have achieved the top 5 star ANCAP safety rating. Only 2% (4 vehicles) have scored a 0 star or 1 star result. You can check all of our ratings at www.ancap.com.au/safety-ratings
I don't quite understand the scoring criteria, so I can't comment on the crash test part. The final automatic braking was successful, but it still didn't get a single star.

how come it got zero? the test showed very good outcome , ive seen cars get more damages than this still got 3- 4 stars? curious
ZERO star means the top score❤❤❤
Wwwwwow
Ahahahahahahah
♾️ ⭐😅
Zero because NCAP did not get paid…same like halal cert
I expected failed integrity of the passenger cell to get zero stars. Over emphasising driver aids these days imo.

Zero rating because MG did not pay NCAP to do the test
@@mohdfirdaushider6932 maybe too
Ya, similarly to T even though cheating on the ANCAP and still sell like hot cake. 😂
Yes yes....Perodua & Potong milo tin is the safest cars on the road

no need to be devils advocate, bad is still bad.

Its bc the option and cheap.

Just curious why 0 star. This video shows MG5 is successful in all road tests.

Yeah, the 2023 vios get good score but didn't actually that different from this one
This test is fake , this car don't deserve 0 star
0 stars? Orly? this is fake test
Yes I think so..Impossible.
Safety of 80s.
Rather push a safety MG TF than drive a dangerous MG5.
just because they don't gives you money for this vedio you gives them 0 star 😂 LoL
