Low Calorie Peri Peri Chicken Burgers!

  • High Protein Peri Peri Chicken Burgers! Only 441 Calories!
    One of the tastiest burgers I’ve made, packed with layers of flavour with incredible macros. You can still enjoy the foods you love and make progress!
    Macros per burger
    441 calories - 43g protein | 29g carbs | 17g fat
    Ingredients (for 2 Burgers)
    for the chicken:
    • 400g Boneless Skinless Raw Chicken Thighs (Approx. 100g per thigh)
    • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
    • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
    • 1 tsp Cumin
    • 1 tsp Onion Powder
    • 1 tsp Salt & Pepper
    • 80g Nando’s Peri Peri Quick Marinade (You can find these at most supermarkets)
    • 1/2 Lemon Juice
    For the Perinaise:
    • 40g Light Mayo - 20g per burger (Brand: Hellmann’s)
    • 15g Sriracha
    • Pinch of Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Paprika, Salt & Pepper
    For the Burger:
    • 2x Brioche Burger Buns (Brand: Aldi - 159 cal per bun)
    • 10g Perinaise per bun piece
    • Lettuce Leaf
    • 2 Tomato Slices
    • 2 pieces of thigh
    • 15g-20g Light Cheese Slice (Emental)
    • 10g Pickled Red Onions (Brand: Sainsbury's)

    This looks amazing definitely going to try ! 😮 I would use chicken breast as a substitute for the thighs as they are high in protein but less in calories

    U should start doing some high calorie meals I love your recipes but I have to double them bc I’m bulking

      You can use higher calorie sauces and just replace chicken breast with chicken thighs in a lot of his recipes for more calories in most his dishes

    How long should we marinate the chicken? Should it be overnight?

      Depends but not that necessary could do 30 min to an hour min so the chicken absorbs some of the marinade

    calory count is cap, the chicken itself is most likely 400ish calories

      The buns are 150, each thigh is probably 200. Definitely not 441 cals, unless he uses only one thigh per burger
