Doesn't work for me. It still launch the original Zero Hour.
It work after I reinstall it in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour" instead of other location like "D:\Games\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour"
Doesn't work. I install everything in the second Zero Hour folder, run the RotR launcher and pick Zero Hour and it plays the regular Zero Hour game.
It keeps saying "This Mod Has Been Installed in 'Frong' Folder"

Hii bro I did install it but when I strat the game the rise of reds dosnt start it only starts the zero hour rise of reds not lunching pls what to do next
doesn't work anymore with the EA app, only worked with origin
this isnt working for EA play. please advise how to make it run for the new shitty EA play platform.
If you view this video and install it, the original zero hour will still run, not the rise of the reds mod. Why is this happening?

it keeps launching the original zero hour without any mods
Make sure you gave it the correct path, your game might installed on another disk etc. And remember to have two Zero Hour things in the path.
Same story with me i installed in the correct folder
So what you need is 1.86, super easy to update I had the same problem as you and that worked fine for me
I have a question, I did exactly based on the video but when I launch my ROTR application its still on ZH default. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Same problem for me i think its the launcher problem because all people,e downloaded the game and launch it by origin but now we have ea app there might be some compatibility issue try to find another launcher
To anyone have the issue of it not loading up or having the issue of "Frong" folder. You need to change your directory to Origin Games through Program files 86. Then click on Zero hour.

@@gadtb8778 The install location needs to be "This PC > Local disk > Programs files 86 > Origin games > Command and conquer generals Zero hour > command and conquer generals zero hour" Then in that folder, thats the place you need to install it.

@@blackdragon9677 I have no idea as origin doesn't exist anymore. I haven't touched C&C since. If you have the disk version, then most likely you can or if you pirated it, then I dunno

My pc is windows 7 and I downloaded the mod but the problem is when i try to launch the game nothing happens

Great video. Got a bit of an odd question. I am trying to run this game in windowed with the fixed launchers installed. That all works fine so I can alt+Tab without constantly crashing. However, I can't run Rise of the Reds on my Origin version that way. I could probably create a desktop shortcut to start the mod from the fixed launcher shortcut instead of the RotR official one, but I am not sure what command line I'd need to add for -mod " ". Any idea what file name I'd need to add?
Well nevermind, I figured it out basically 10 minutes later.
You add -win and -quickstart to the game properties of the origin version, start the launcher for RotR and then start the game through origin instead of the launcher. The Rise of the Reds splashscreen comes up and now I'm playing the game the way I wanted to, just had to jump through about 20 hoops.
can you provide a link for fixing launcher? my c&c constantly crashes when I alt tab, thanks

I tried atm i get the launcher then it launches into vanilla ZH didnt work for me

There is an extra mod that allows you to do the campaign

If I install this will I still be able to play multiplayer online? Please explain how the multiplayer online will work after installing this. Because right now I can play against my mates on origin c&c zero hour multiplayer no problems. But will the zero hour multiplayer still work after this mod is installed and can I play this mod with my mates?

Try to "Run as Administration". It might help. (right click the icon then click "Run as Administration")
