  • After a town wide yard sale in superior Arizona. A gentleman walked up to me and said he had a concrete mixer with the name Mike Guzman on the door. I was not sure what he was talking about because I did not have any pictures of the truck, but yes, it was the second concrete mixer that my great grandfather ever purchased and Albo and Mike Junior were in their teenage years and 20's when it was purchased for about 16K. It's a 1950 Ford with a 6 yard drum, not sure what engine is in it because we could not open the hood, but it is definitely a V8. Mike is now 90 years old and Albo is almost 83. This was long before all the red white and blue trucks, and when the business was in its infancy. Albo and Mike both used this truck in their younger years for the business.

And the knife was a 4'' folding buck knife. Cool pics your dad looked like a tough man. ill bet he could have killed a bear with just a side eye gaze :0 So cool you found that truck. family history that didnt go to the scrap yard>>>yet

I worked for Albo Guzman when he had his Tortilla Factory in Apache Junction. It was my first job. He was great friends with my DAD. Good guy. Haven't seen him in years.
