He can attempt to cross the Gambia in a straight line
Yes!
Great idea!
Comment every video until it happens.
would be epic to see you and Beau Miles running together
picking up trash on the side of the road, and making a canoe from it :P
Make IT HAPPEN!!
yessss!!!
Great shout
Lmao that would be awesome. Just having special guests come through at different points of the trip would be so fun.
"Beau miles catches Russ in a homemade bicycle in Cameroon"
"David Goggins carries the logs with Russ in Togo"
Can you imagine?
I've been watching since the start, but haven't commented yet. Just want to say that these last 2 episodes have gone up another level (though every episode thus far has been fantastic). Honestly, the mental resilience for everyone to just carry on under such tough mental, physical & logistical challenges is astounding, let alone produce some of the best RUclips content going. A really honest view of all the challenges & struggles, and the strength shown to overcome everything. I keep telling absolutely everyone I can about your mission, I think it's incredible. Kudos boys.
similar, i didn't comment till last episode. wish i'd been on it as it was happening, but I didn't find them till his interview on diary of a CEO.
Content is unbelievable, what a team. Inspirational.
Gnarliest Zebra
Not Stan. Get him gone
@@EvieWillNotDie stan looks like he’s having a tough time. But who do you think is making the videos?
@@alexcostello-bromwich5312 Stan? What?
@@EvieWillNotDie yeah he videos and edits the videos
Russ doesn't seem to notice that slow piano music starts playing every time he talks deep

Brilliant Russ. You're crazy though.!
The extra effort that went into this episode really shows. You guys are all killing it! All the best!
It might mean little coming from some guy on the far side of the world, but you are all heroes to me. You are changing the world in a far bigger way than you think. Its not about creating an unstoppable tidal wave, its about how far your message reaches, how what you all are doing is creeping into the minds of people.
Even so simple a thing as facing small challenges and taking care of yourself hits home. I struggle with that, not because I am doing something heroic like you are, but because its a challenge to everyone in various ways and times. I can relate to what you're going through, which makes me feel heroic too. You're all an inspiration.
❤
Plenty of mornings these last 6 months where I don't wanna get up in the morning and then I just think to myself "ones and twos" and immediately get the fuck out of bed
I love the deep conversations that have been featured in the latest episodes. We really get to know Russ and the crew on a deeper level & it’s pretty inspiring stuff. Let’s face it, the mental strength is what is keeping Russ going more than physical strength & that’s what I am most in awe of ❤
Mental strength is also what The Running Charity is about, is it not?
Totally agree, these insights into their mental attitudes and resilience are inspiring and Informative.
The mental toughness these boys have is unmatched. So incredibly impressive and inspiring.
Yo guys, absolutely love this series. You are both right and wrong about the quality of content the youtube audience expects, you are right in that your audience expects a super high standard of production, but guys, you've been listening to suggestions from the start, literally implementing the critique from the top comments since day one, and now you've reached a point where there is nothing to complain about. You are wrong in that it goes way beyond traditional commercial production at this point, hands down better and more enjoyable than anything you'd find coming from any cable network. Can only imagine the struggle it takes from everyone on the team, but you are all creating something truly unique for us to enjoy and for you to be proud of. Thank you!
this ^
Lads, get the next person coming over to bring a solar shower. Fill it up, leave it in the sun for bit, hang it up and boom you have a warm shower! Its a game changer - I use mine for camping, multi-day hikes and festivals.
Brilliant. Definitely the best series on RUclips.
These episodes are really coming into their own. The real talk interviews with Russ really break up the running/travel content. Cannot believe how underrated this channel STILL is, your logistics knowledge is going from strength to strength. Legends.
running the length of antarctica next boys
Wouldn’t be the first on that one
Gus seems like an absolute beast, really taking the mission to new heights
Ran my first half marathon this evening really puts into perspective what russ is doing man took me 2 hours to finish 😅
Love the new feature of Russ chatting about deep shit at the end. So clear he’s gained so much wisdom from all the time on road 🦧
Loved the context for why you have to take the diversion!
a real heart to heart conversation at the end there. Love this series!
I enjoyed that… keep going lads. Further you go the deeper it gets and the more authentic the content. There’s no option of stopping now
That’s exactly what I thought. That last talk from Russ was crazy inspirational
12:13 That's a moth! A male large emerald pearl moth (Stemorrhages sericea) to be precise. The brush on his tail is a scent gland used to attract a mate, so the flower comparison is apt! Totally harmless. =)
Slightly concerned that Stan took 150+ days to discover bucket baths
Great job team - incredible. Would love to see a breakdown on how everyone on the team contributes... was awesome to hear Russ mention Guus' contribution to overall mentality of the mission. It's a massive workload for a small team. Maybe when the team grows to 6ppl?
The ups and downs in this series are brilliant. The serious talk at the end was vibes
I would recommend like a Supercut for the first third that youve run so far. 1 or 2 hour videos can do very well on YT and would also help getting a new wave of audience that can follow allong from this point on. Not many people are gonna watch the previous 40 episodes because YT doesnt recommend your videos in order and some random bloke who gets recommend episode 23 or something is probably not gonna care without the previous backstory
Yeah good idea.i join a bit late and am a bit out of the loop so would love a supercut.
Also I think Stan's hair needs a supercut!
This man makes me want to go to on adventures. If a ginger geezer can run the lenght of Africa, I can also go that crazy think i've been thinking of. Good job guys, so inspiring!
Stan has come a long way with these edits. Bravo muh guy 🫡
I'll always be behind this mission, all the best to the team! You guys are amazing.
hey pal, my friend told me about your channel yesterday.. been glued all today...what an amazing story... keep at it and all the luck in the world!
I really enjoy the reflective/managerial stuff. I know it's all there behind banter, but it's good-hearted it's front and centre.
That was Jareds best interjection yet 😂 12:07
Good on you gents, good luck with your adventure. Love from 🇿🇦
Can see how mentally resilient you guys are but never underestimate the benefit of using remote therapy while you're out there. Doing great boys, bless
I loved the reflection on what Gus has done to the mission! I remember reading a comment on the first video with Gus predicting these things you said now.
I love how you talk so highly about Guus. He is one of a kind ! And also you're doing great! Keep up the good spirit
Are we sure Stan was not "parent trapped"? I found his brother: SB mowing!😅
Have you guys not heard of those "solar shower" bags?
So awesome to see and hear how you're all growing as the mission progresses! Big up boys!
Great episode - again!
Solid episode. Nice work.
Watched form day 1 love it keep it up russ carry on stomping
Another epic episode lads. Keep smashing it 🙏🏻
Legend, love this series! keep it up
May God give you all the strength to push through to the end, wishing you safe run 🏃.
So happy you can get some 1s and 2s in!!! Looking forward to the

Best video so far. A whole lot of real talk. Good shit peeps. Kia kaha
The fact slaves was mentioned just made my day 😂
Been watching you since the start geezer, keep powering through because you know how to more than the rest of us!
commenting and liking for the algorithm. This series is the best thing on tv right now and the more we can blow this up, the more people that will be there in the end
This is the best content out there, hats off to Russ and the team. Such an enjoyable watch and escape. So impressive what you are doing aswelll. Inspirational lads ❤️
Particularly enjoyable episode 👍🏻
This is my first time commenting, but I’ve been watching regularly since July. Russ, and the whole team, you are incredible, awesome and so inspiring. I have so much respect for you all, and have no doubt you’ll smash getting to that finish line. Your dedication is utterly ferocious. I, and five of my colleagues, came across you whilst staying in Worthing in July. We stumbled across your Hardest Geezer beer at The Goose, where the lovely bar staff filled us in on you and your amazing plans. Keep on trucking Russ and smash that tarmac! 🏃Loving the content. You are insanely inspiring. 👊
The goat , keep inspiring , your videos always make my day , thanks very much , keep making people smile , I love your positive vibes , big up to the team aswell ❤
Love the content lads 👍
Get On Russ, You Are Awesome And You Will Easily Get This Continent Done 🤘🤘🤘. Rock On Brother
Feel like the sneaking through borders shouldn’t be in the vids in case the governments see and start being more vigilant with them
They have moved into Cameroon now in real time which is why they have started showing these clips. In all the earlier videos in the Congo they didn’t show these clips for your exact reasoning
Bucket bath realisation 9:22 😂
Really enjoying your journey lads
You've got this, its coming together and its going to be great to see you cross the finish line!
love these videos!
Looking forward to seeing Ian in an episode, I follow him on instagram and that's how I found this channel, guy's a legend in my book haha
Love your journey🎉
Great episode lads
Some questions:
How hard is the run on russ' body? No chaffing? Blisters? Sunburn?
Had the team met before? Must be hard all living in that van day after day in that heat. No privacy
Will this be a Guinness world record? How far has someone run across Africa before?
What food are you giys eating?
When's the projected end date?
How often does russ have rest days?
Can we get some videos of all the team dancing with the local kids in each country? 😂
I enjoyed this episode. Good content talking about content!
all you beys are the shit, top team, geddon. love from plymouth 💪
Better than any show on any platform at the minute
Is Harry still rejoining the mission at some point?
“Sometimes you just gotta shoot some sh*t at the wall and see what sticks” class ✨
Russ you DAWG. Keep going so inspirational
loving how its all been travelling
Nobody deserves the accolades that will come your way when you get to the finish line than you boys! Please keep going!
How is it even possible for the body to do this? Truly the f’ing hardest geezer.
The long journey videotaped shows how beautiful Africa native lands are! The diversity of humans and animals! What is next?
You should really add the episode number to these! It was super helpful
Will Harry ever return?
I agree with gus . Just sat on the train in England after a fantastic 5 days at the amsterdam marathon ❤ 🇳🇱
Love getting the notification
no joke fashion icon. I bought a bucket hat to wear while running after watching this channel for months.
Stans explanation of how easily we could all actually make a difference was powerful
No
great episode
keep on going lad
Stan, as a York lad, you should be lobbying for Thomas's over Greggs.
Absolute legends ❤
Harry making an appearance again soon? Or is he just running logistics from remote?
Glad to see "the game is the game" back 😂
Quality video!
This whole thing is great
That road looks unreal. The jungle is taking over
"FORTY ONE IN YOOOOOORK" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Can wait for the episode where you lot get hair cuts 😂 cmon the boys, keep smashing it!
Pitching Greggs as the saving grace for the UK is hard to argue with
keep going lad
“Flower on its asshole” 😂😂
Go Go Geezer Go! No matter the gadgets, visas, turmoil, clutches, bugs, whether weather or sun, mud or Tarmac, feet Smack! Ready for the the next one and 2!
Boys, don't eat monkey. That is just straight up not kosher. Stick with fasting over some flesh boys, parasites and maggots and that, heul up.
I mean, if you are sure you're clear, in someone's home, and you know fresh vibes are there, chillin.. but sweet chili roadkill watch out for. Real talk.
Run Forrest!!💪💪👌
Big progress
That Zebra-Thing-Bucket-Hat-Combo is a vibe😂
Man, all these border crossings and checkpoints would give me so much anxiety.
im just so curious what the shoe situation is? How often is he changing them out? Does he just have a massive stock of hokas in that van?
From someone who has moved from the UK to Ireland that doesnt have Greggs, that is so legit
Just donated 5 pounds. Keep it up!!
The fact that Russ thought the under hat thing was too bad to wear shows how sweaty / smelly it was!
