When I do my reaction videos I don't press pause because I don't want to interrupt the natural flow of the music as it was originally intended by the artist. I try to vocalise my thoughts in real time as I listen to the song, and then summarise my reaction afterwards.
Please do recommend songs or other artists for me to checkout in future by commenting on this video! I'm constantly on the lookout for great new music and things I've never heard before.

That was absolutely superb. Vocalist is outrageously talented and the guitar tone was lovely! Pumped for this album to drop!
Resolve is one the best thing that happen to modern Metalcore. Truly. That chorus is another damn beautiful one.
Every Resolve track I hear is another unique reason to love the band! They have such a knack for playing with different tones and intensities and moods within any given song of theirs, yet it always sounds like a Resolve song. They're just awesome. Thanks for putting this track on my radar!
This sounds like NIN made a metalcore song.
Resolve really got my attention lately!! Amazing French band with the whole package! They sound soooo good and looks cool! Can't wait for the new album to drop Sep 15th
You can hear the talent in his voice I don’t know exactly what to call it but it’s really nice
I think you nailed it. It’s delicious for sure and I totally agree that the more you listen it gets better
Yes, thoroughly enjoying additional listens.
Hi. New subscriber here.
I know you have done a couple of her vids before but I would recommend Eivør - The Last Kingdom: Main Theme (Live at Hammersmith Apollo).
Hello Steve,
Just a quick question. You once had Marcin Patrzałek's marathon for 7 days here. Can we expect it again? I would love to see it, and I'm sure I'm not the only one eagerly awaiting your reaction to his latest release, "Carmen."
Thank you!
Hello! I don’t have any plans to revisit Marcin soon to be honest. I’ve been massively enjoying focussing on rock content recently. Never say never, but I wouldn’t hold your breath on it I’m afraid. Sorry fella.
I would absolutely recommend you check out Thornhill, with anything from their Dark Pool or Heroine albums, ideally being able to do a full listen. They have a fantastic atmospheric metal sound that I'm sure you will love!
Thanks for the recommendation! I’ve listened to a chunk of them actually. I adore their guitar work, and the drumming is ace. I could never quite get on board with the vocal style unfortunately.
@@SteveOGRock that's absolutely fine! I'm really glad you've been able to check them out, but now you mention it, I can definitely see how the vocal work could be hit or miss, which is one of the beautiful parts about music!! If you don't mind me asking, what have you heard from them? Just because Jacob definitely changed his style between the Dark Pool and Heroine to fit the storytelling of each album. Loving your reactions though, you often point out a lot of things I only subconsciously noticed about artists/songs, so keep up the great work. One other recommendation I will say if you are interested in the death metal side of things, are Psycroptic, they really know how to make a riveting soundscape. If you give them a listen, 'Frozen Gaze' or 'Cold' are both great choices. Thanks again!
Is it just me or am i getting some Architects vibes?
Totally agree!
