The synth was a bit jarring to me on first listen. But I’m sure that will get better the more I listen to the song. The chorus was unbelievable though! I like it a lot!
Doesn’t really sound similar to Opeth at all to me. You could make a small case for similarity at a general level for the song “Ghost of Perdition” in terms of dynamics with heaviness, but otherwise… I don’t see it my dude.
