At some point one of the thugs says "Your life ain't worth spit in here." Totally a nod to Tim Burton's Batman where Jack Palance's character says "Your life won't be worth spit!" to Nicholson. Love this game.
If You enter the GCPD building from the back entrance, enter at the first door on your right, and look to your left you see a wall with a bunch of papers tacked to it. Two of these papers reference "Prometheus", a lesser known batman villain. A third thing is a magazine. Aside from it being in Arkham Asylum, it mentions Bruce Wayne, the iceberg lounge, and a possible reference to the injustice league in the lower left-hand corner.
Wait... A green necklace? That belonged to his mother? His father died, but his mother lived? A crash? A man wanted to kill them? Holy sh*t... Hush's mother was Rose from Titanic.
In Arkham Knight The Ventriloquist is said to be Peyton Riley, but in City and Asylum it's said to be Arnold Wesker, so either they retconned The Ventriloquist's identity, or there are two Ventriloquists in the Arkhamverse
well so it kinda was in the comics. Wesker was the first Ventriloquist but got killed, and Peyton Riley found Scareface and became the new Ventriloquist. heck I still have the comic that explains this story. SO yeah, technicly there are two.
@@Danthepest1 he was never in arkahm city, the police call reference doing a crime outside, and it was very likely he was put in the GCPD or the asylum going by Gordons commands
Kinda odd. Jack Ryder is at least mentioned in all 3 games and yet not a single appearance of the creeper. Who love to see how they would portray him in the game
danny hernandez I understand that Jason tried to steal the tires off of the Batmobile, but Batman having spare tires (which most car owners do) doesn't necessarily mean it's a reference to Jason Todd.
He also could be Azrael from the Knightfall story arc. John Paul Valley, Azrael, was a cop, didn't know his mother, saw his father shot to death, admired Batman. All of these fit into both Blake and Jean Paul Valley's back stories.
Oh shit, when the cop mentioned "Wesker" taking someone hostage, I just passed that off as: "Ah, Albert Wesker trying to rule the world again. Chris'll get 'em."
Two I havent seen so far in these videos are: One is near the theater, you can see a poster for "The Terror", which is Basil Karlos biggest movie, where he played the monster of the movie, also named "Clayface" The other is (i think) near the iceberg lounge, there is a puppet store, and the stores mascot seems to be Scarface minus the scar. Or atleast the same make of puppet.
I love how the game says that the Falcone family went for the "relative safety of Bludhaven". Good luck! I'm thinking a DLC adventure where you stop some major sinister Falcone family plot as Nightwing?
Wow....I love how much thought and tributes went into this game. I'm not exactly a Batman buff but I did get the Shark repellent joke on my own =) 1960s Batman series & The Animated series are my favorites
The clearest reference to the Ventriloquist is that Scarface (or a resembling puppet) is in Penguin’s museum, but I guess it can be considered a whole different reference entirely.
always wondered about that shark repellant one. first time i got to it in the game i said something like "too bad i left the shark repellant at the batcave!" lol
8:44 Wait... Batman can die in this game? I know dying in video games is common, but from watching this guy play the game, the thought never occurred to me.
In the story mode when youre after penguin you can hear a special report of vicki vale inside the ice bourge longe. but you have to be in the recruit room
Actually Nightwing did take up the Batman mantle for a short period of time so it should be 1st Robin=Nightwing & Batman 2nd Robin=The Red Hood 3rd Robin=Red Robin
i swear man just when i thought ive seen every easter egg in this game theres another one hidden around the corner. rocksteady just doesnt stop lol and i love it. Also, i dont know if anyone has seen it but in the Harleys Revenge DLC you can find a Cadmus poster in the Steel Mill. yet another easter egg
Expeckting rock I'm pretty sure Bane speaks some Spanish in arkham city or arkham asylum because in one of those games bane calls someone a bruha (I don't excactly know how to spell it) which batman states means witch
I FOUND THE NECKLACE! Before I saw this, I was playing the game and saw the necklace. I thought it was an Easter egg, but I left it alone because I couldn't find anything on it.
Hush's necklace is also in the forensic lab in one of the lower office areas in the room where you fight Freeze. There's also bloody bandages all around it.
"one-face" is also a reference to in nightwing year one when to train the new robin, alfred dresses up as two face and subsequently gets captured by killer croc. croc gets angry and thretens to turn alfred/two-face into one-face by ripping off the other side.
The shark repellant bat spray is also referenced in the last Riddler mission, where he thinks about borrowing Penguin's shark, but decides not to because he thinks Batman would already have some sort of shark repellant.
Thomas Elliot was one of Bruce's best friends as a kid. Thomas got older and more greedy, he planned for his parents (Two doctors) to die in a car crash and he'd be the only survivor, but Bruce's da (another doctor) saved them. He had a grudge against Bruce and found out he was Batman. He created a plan with Riddler (the only other villain he told who Batman was, supposedly) with a lot of other villains tying in. Riddler revealed it in the last HUSH comic, don't worry though Riddler got amnesia.
There might also be another reference to the film "Batman - Under The Red Hood." When Batman and the Red Hood fights in an apartment, where the Joker was being kept, first, when they fight in the bathroom, Batman kicks Jason in on of the walls. After he had hit the wall, Jason takes a little piece of the tiles and tries to hit Batman. Batman dodged the attack three times and then he hits him, in a very similar way Batman dodge a person, with a knife, three times and then takes him down.
Huntress/Helena was also Batgirl in NML. Well she wore a Batgirl suit, then she went back to her normal Huntress costume when Batman recruited Cassandra.
Not too sure about the tires either--if there was going to be a Jason shout-out in the Batcave segment, a better way of doing it would be to have the glass case with Jason's Robin costume inside, which was a staple in the Bat-Cave for decades. Nice catch with the freeze grenades and Titan Joker to The Batman--kinda surprised they combed that for stuff, and I say that as someone who actually liked that cartoon.
I love what Gordon says GORDON: Wayne's lawyers are gonna have a field day with this and I don't want my budgets being cut to pay for some rich guy's expectations!" LOL I don't know why but that just make me laugh
There's one little thing that I noticed as an Easter Egg you guys may consider. In the back of Hush (Thomas Elliot)'s hideout there's a hand in a jar. I believe that's Aaron Cash's hand that Killer Croc ate.
about the hush necklace, I don't think that can count as an easter egg because I found three of those same necklaces in the lab including the one shown in the video.I can only remember the second one in the room where the electrocution button is for that puddle to shock mr.freeze..
Also the way that Hugo Strange deduced that Bruce Wayne was Batman is similar to the way that his Digitally Advanced Villain Emulator (D.A.V.E.) did it in The Batman. Season 3 - Episode 13: "Gotham's Ultimate Criminal Mastermind"
After you hear Gordon at the beginning of the game, if you move over to the GothamFM station, you can hear Vicki Vale do a "Breaking News" story on Bruce Wayne getting captured
Dick Garyson was the first, he got tired of being Batman's sidekick and left to become Nightwing. The came Jason Todd, a juvenile who tried to steal Batman's tires from the Batmobile, he was killed by Joker with a tire iron. Tim Drake found out who Batman was and wanted to become the new Robin, reluctant at first Batman finally accepted. He eventually left after getting older to be Red Robin. Jason Todd cam back in-between Tim Drake being 'Robin' and 'Red Robin' from the Lazarous. (continued)
Also, Talia's body did not vanish. In the scene while fighting Clayface, just as Joker detonates the floor and Batman and Clayface fall through the rupture, you can see Talia's lifeless body just above the hole. You have to look quick though.
7:02 an easter egg that would be awsome to go with that pic would be if you wore the animated attire and stood on top of a certain building that flash of lightning would go off
just to inform you at 3:10 he sais about commissioner gordon saying about taking the thugs to GCPD, but you can also listen to gotham FM where Vicki vale is talking about the arrest, too
That's my exact point, because from what I remember there was never a girl robin. And I just remember Stephanie was one of the batgirls. She was basically Batgirl, but still worked alongside with Batman.
Crazy Quilt was seen at the court room right? Well the developers said that there are still easter eggs unseen and they gave a hint that there is one easter egg in the demo, maybe just maybe there is a way to see Crazy Quilt in or around in the courthouse because it's part of the demo!
Something else I found that may or may not mean something is a book in the Manager's Office in the Steel Mill. If you look to the right of the Harley intercom in the room, there's an open book on the table with Philadelphia in bold print. Just thought I'd point it out as something odd.
9:15 - treasure this moment, Batman dying in a Batman Arkham Videos video, even if it was staged
@that boi yeah the only time he ever been harmed was in Arkham origin multiplayer
They put a LOT of love into this game

"They call him One Face now."

Ok the shark repellent for New Game Plus would have been hilarious 😂
This game is soooo detailed
Truly amazing on how much effort they put into this game. So many hints, easter eggs, and nostalgia.

Oh, they were referencing the Ventriloquist when they said Wesker. And here I thought Umbrella corp. was suddenly in the Batman cannon.
Kinda odd. Jack Ryder is at least mentioned in all 3 games and yet not a single appearance of the creeper. Who love to see how they would portray him in the game
2:23
The ending to Arkham Asylum and City are from The Batman series...
Does that means that the third game finale its hidden in one episode? O_o
Waddya mean? Cause you might be onto something here.
lol the last one was my favourite easter egg mentioned:Use Batman's powerful shark repellent,a flurry of furious strikes
So Batman having spare tires is immediately a reference to Jason Todd?
Most likely, since that's how Batman first met him.
danny hernandez By having spare tires?
danny hernandez I understand that Jason tried to steal the tires off of the Batmobile, but Batman having spare tires (which most car owners do) doesn't necessarily mean it's a reference to Jason Todd.
+Lorox Makevids yeah you're right. Only the devs know.
Lorox Makevids EXTRA they would be in or under the car
He also could be Azrael from the Knightfall story arc.
John Paul Valley, Azrael, was a cop, didn't know his mother, saw his father shot to death, admired Batman.

I think the one with the tires is a bit of a stretch. They could just be spear tires.
4:50
Batman - "Oh please stop! You're embarrassing me!"
"Batman, Nightwing, and there's one more..." It makes a reference to how Robin never gets the credit for doing a good deed with Batman.
"They're calling him One Face now." LOL.
Wow i thought i knew a lot about batman but to find all of these references...that is amazing
This has got to be one of my favorite RUclips videos of all times. No joke.
4:57 "Sounds bad, man" "Sounds BAD, MAN" "Sounds BADMAN" BADMAN/BATMAN xD
Oh shit, when the cop mentioned "Wesker" taking someone hostage, I just passed that off as: "Ah, Albert Wesker trying to rule the world again. Chris'll get 'em."
Wait, so Jack Ryder was actually a superhero the entire time?
TheSMLIFfilms yeah the creeper isn’t really known that well, not even in the comic book community.
@Cancer Itself185 well he probably is but doesn’t know it, as Quincy Sharp mentions him
@Cancer Itself185 in Arkham Asylum, Jack Ryder’s character bio confirms that the Creeper is in fact in the Arkhamverse
@Cancer Itself185 there’s also a direct reference to the Creeper in Arkham City, which was literally in this video. How’d you miss that?😂

5:07 Snake, is that you?
OMG! They should have used that shark repellant idea. It would have been the best laugh ever!
Seeing Adam West's Batman edited into the same type of style as the Arkham City concept art was the most epic thing I ever saw.
