- It's been 2 years already?! Here's what I've done with the JZS155 Toyota Crown since then, and what the future holds for it. New transmission, new radio, new suspension, all the goodies! I also go over the future plans for the vehicle.
Amazing. I recently purchased a Toyota Crown Royal Saloon G 1996. Been dailying it and it’s been great. It’s hard to find videos of this car thanks for the info you put out!
How did you go about wiring the headunit , would love to see it more in depth
Hey! Message me on my Instagram Obsolete_Performance and I can show you all the pictures I took of the process I did.
Have you replaced the radiator in it yet? If so did you use an OEM radiator or did you find one from a US model that matches?
@@prodpreston I haven't in this one yet, but I'm another I had I did, I bought one from YAJ and shipped it over.
Was there a RUclips video or forum for fitting the head unit flush?
So, on mine the head unit bezel setup is a factory setup out of a base model GS151. It all bolts in. However, factory ones are extremely hard to find. I have a spare.
@@obsoleteperformancedo you have another platform where we can talk about this? I’ve never heard of this solution.
Which Lexus vehicle can parts be interchangeable with the Crown?
There is some interchangeability with Lexus but not as much as people would hope. The suspension is unique to the Chaser/Mark II/Crown but apparently people have made IS arms work SOMETIMES. I'm running an IS300 differential that bolts in. But other than that just little stuff engine components, sensors, bushings, etc.
