You are a great old man, my Ford Sierra has the same transmission and I never knew how to take it apart, now thanks to you I know how to do it. Thank you very much and greetings from Argentina 😊😊😊
Dear master. Thanks to your video, I managed to assemble my own gearbox. Your video was a great guide to me both during disassembly and assembly. I thank you endlessly. Greetings and love from Turkey.
Hello hello, you are old school like me , I don’t understand what is the torque of the big nut 36, can Somebody tell me ? I appreciate a lot . I dissemble all because 5 speed go out alone . And looking that video I saw that he take out something from the alloy part on the side . There is a part with 2 bolt . Thanks gabriel
Thank you very much in advance, I appreciate your informative video. I have a small query, I have the same gearbox, but I have a problem with the 5th gear, it returns to neutral after walking a few kilometers, in some cases hundreds of meters, the 5th gears are in perfect condition, just like the locks of the synchronizer. Could you tell me what I should pay attention to to know what causes it?
Hi Stephen, I have found your video's very informative. I'm in the process of researching a type 9 conversion to an MGB. I'm looking to buy. Am I right to assume you are sgm5y with these gearboxes? Kind regards Mark
