I follow both of them ....my scalp no longer itches and my hair is becoming healthier. I wash no more than 2x per week. I wash and style and it lasts me 3 days .....reducing heat so better for hair.

Hi Gabi, I’ve learned so much watching your channel and I’m slowly integrating your ideas into my life. Your hair is absolutely stunning. I have thin hair as well. It’s embarrassing at my age of 48 that I still don’t know how to take care of my hair. I’ve had a few surgeries and now going through menopause my hair is thinning. It used to be so thick. I never thought I would have this problem. I’m struggling to get my hair to grow. I have fine and extremely curly hair. I use very hot tools for drying and styling. My scalp can be itchy but I usually don’t have dandruff and occasionally have a very “tender” scalp. I can’t wait to try these products and try your ideas. I’m doing my very best to start taking care of myself again. Thank you. Your content is inspiring and helps me want to be a better me.

I take good care of it - I do oil massages (I combine castor and rosemary), use really good shampoo and conditioner, use hair masks, rarely use heat, sleep on a silk pillowcase, use silk scrunchies, never tie it when it's wet or sleep or brush it when wet, I take vitamins and eat healthy, but despite all my efforts it doesn't grow and I'm truly at a loss 🤷

@@sunshineeveryday9873 everyone’s hair is different and CGM pushes everyone to follow the same “rules”. If you try CGM, listen to your hair and don’t keep pushing through if it doesn’t seem to be for you. Some hair needs sulphates to properly cleanse and silicones to avoid damage from extreme tangles. Thank you for your amazing hair tips and I was a hairdresser for 30 years. Every tip makes so much sense and I believe that a lot of the issue is when women color their hair whether dark or light. I think there is a lack of educating of the clients on maintenance and educating the client on after care. After leaving the field I have found this out and it is very upsetting. We also have gone through a decade of clients getting services and a blow out consisted of color, cut, and blow out. Some will then straighten. That’s considered finished. I have been some places where they just dry the hair and service is complete. This era is on hold because now body, movement, and layers are coming back. This was my era of hair that I loved and miss dearly. But, damaged hair will show through blowouts without proper education from the stylist. I love that you are on board with this and educate patrons because they don’t know and it is important. I love your balayage it’s beautiful and I would like to try it with the hint of auburn that you have popping through. My hair browns out so quickly, always did. I have now gotten to the age that I wash it every three days and use heartless satin curler that I sleep in. The curl last for three days and damage free. My next goal is to find a great colorist that can do these newer techniques in my area…I enjoy watching your tips and excited to see where the new hair trend are going. As, I have always been a fan of voluminous hair and very excited for the return. I just want to maintain healthy locks. Checking into these products and I thank you for the tips…

Thanks Gabi for your tips! I have fine hair that has miniaturized on the crown of my head. Basically the hairs on top of my head are much shorter than the ones in the back and they stop growing past a certain point. I know there’s a genetic component but my hair still frustrates me sometimes. Thank god I have an amazing hairdresser that works with what I’ve got (keeping my hair shorter so it doesn’t show as much). I’ve tried everything to help my hair grow out in that area (quality shampoos, PRP injections, laser caps, blood work to rule out any hormonal issues, collagen supplements, silk pillowcases, etc.) I finally met with a dermatologist and he suggested rogaine, finasteride or a hair transplant but I’m not sure I want to go down either of these routes…

Such great advice. I always question when watching hair repair advice and not mentioning to stop coloring/lightening. It’s taken me almost 3 years of not coloring aka lightening my baby fine natural blond hair to grow out. Best decision I ever made. My hair was in horrible shape. I thought because I wasn’t using bleach the issue was my hair after going through menopause. My hair texture totally changed after menopause. I’d say the absolute key was no more coloring.

Hi Gabi. Love all these tips. My biggest issue currently is that after three years of working from home, I recently had to return to the office full-time. This means that I don't want to exercise every weekday now because I don't have the strength to wash and style my hair every day. I have long, thick hair and after a workout my hair is a mess😩.

I had great hair, until I got covid. Literally 3 months later within 6 weeks I lost so much hair, handfuls, I had to cut it off into a pixie and it was devastating. I always took care of my hair and even got treatments at my doctors office. I’ve tried every product out there and nothing really made a difference. It’s finally growing but slowly. I’m going on and ordering what you recommend right now. Hope it helps.

My big issue is my thin hair in the front of my face. I see a lot of baby hairs but they are still thin hair. The rest of my head has lot more hair density and it makes it harder to style and maintain the style, specially to have volume at the front of my head. I love your channel. Your hair looks amazing!

My biggest issue is itchy scalp…
I also tried the curly girl method with tons of conditioner, that seem to make my hair much much worse shape.. I have wasted so much money on products that did not work or made my hair worse I pretty much decided I was not going to watch anymore RUclips channels, but you definitely seem knowledgeable and straightforward and I am so thankful for all your videos❤
I wish that I could wear my hair or the wavy way without all this process squished to condition, etc.

I have my hair professionally colored once every 7 weeks to cover my grays, I stay in my natural color spectrum. I love the feeling of my hair and the texture after my salon appointment, I will literally not wash my hair for an entire week after my appointment to hold onto this feeling. I would love to be able to recreate the way my hair feels right after my coloring appointment each and every day and Volume, I need more VOLUME! ❤

i had lost most of my hair from the roots due to poor health after pneumonia few years back.
now my hair has grown back thicker and stronger than ever before.
i used rosemary oil, and once a week olive oil, avocado oil, almond oil, coconut oil, mustard oil, all mixed together leav in hair for 3-4 hours then wash out.
and re- growth hair serum from holland and barrett.
and brought the dyson complete hair styler kit , which also includes the dryer.
this dyson has seriously changed my hair. no dry damaged hair anymore after using any of its hair tools. first time in my life i have no split ends and absolutely no problems with my hair. they’ve grown so long and healthy.

I have been through the ringer with my health in the last couple of years. I have always had thin , fine hair and its just getting worse. It’s is disheartening because it feels like nothing is helping I would love to have some increased volume and luster back! My hair is brittle, I don’t often blow dry or heat style because repetitive motions cause worsening of my back pain. I’ve been letting it grow because it’s easy to let air dry and put in a low pony. However, my Son is getting married next month and I just want my hair to look pretty in an updo. After that, I don’t know! I’m honestly afraid to even brush my hair because of the breakage. Thank you for all you do and all you share!
