    As someone who is 6’4” with a size 15 shoe, I think I speak for all of us big guys when I saying thank you for this video. Just bought a 2017 kawasaki Ninja, an it’s shifter peg and brake pedal were very uncomfortable an I had to swing my foot out an around to hit both every time. Not to mention my long legs would cramp up on me from my legs being bent so tight on the bikes pegs.

    Perfect instructions. I needed this demonstration. Especially for the gear shift, and foot position adjustment. It feel so much better now, and fits like a glove to how i ride. I've not had anymore cramping up and comfortableness. Thank you.

    You’ve helped adjust levers from the middle of the length of my fingers to the phalanges tips. Much easier for reach, riding, control, handling and confidence. Thanks!

    Thanks bro! Just bought motorcycle boots and they're way different to regular trainers. Adjusted the lever up slightly to help with upshifting

    Thanks for the video very informative. I got new motorbike boots that were bigger than my old ones and had to adjust my gear level upwards slightly so I could actually fit the boot under the lever.

    Thank you very easy to follow and very detailed info. Great for a new rider like myself who is scared of his foot not reaching clutch from my peg and my rear brake foot placement needed to be moved.

    It's hard to believe this is the same Dave Moss who has his own channel in 2021. 2009 Dave Moss is so....polite. He seems to be the most popular source on RUclips for motorcycle ergonomics but wow, in his newer videos it's hard to get past his unapproachable tone, very abrasive.

    Great information as always Dave but I’ve been told that the position on the spline should be parallel with the ground and on my 2006 Fireblade the dot should be inline with the groove

    Great video! I have one question -- could you provide some information on what a good position for both shifter and brake looks like? Would be great to cover riding foot position -- ball of foot on foot peg vs front of heel on peg.

    why didnt you shoe how to move the brake side peg, i move my shifter peg up and when i tried moving the brake peg to the same position i could not get it due to the break line restricting the movement. i wrestled with for 20 mins and finally gave up and moved them both back...

    My riding shoes have a notch under the sole where the heel is so it locks into the pegs. My question is.... is it better to place your heel on the foot peg or the ball of your feet on the pegs ??

    • @unclesesi5559
      @unclesesi5559 5 лет назад

      The notch is there so that it's easier to anchor and pivot the boots when shifting. Other than that, you should rest the ball, not heel on the peg

    Man... if I only knew about that height adjustment so you can lock your knees onto the tank... rather than "reaching" to get a lock on with your knee...
