This is the kind of football we are dieing it will come back again, when the stadium was full and people were glued to their tv,that was the time i had completed jss,oh,hmmmmm, may all those who lost their souls rest in peace.
Hmm I was young buy I watched it live, there were even part where people were jumping from the top of the stadium down, my Dad was trying to cover my eyes but I could still see, it was dreadful...
Ok.. this is my observation. The second goal for hearts was a well worked goal from sammy adjei, through to osei kuffuor and Ishmail addo.. the fabulous fans were furious because their players couldn't leave up to their expectations... The kotoko fans shouldn't have resorted to destroying the seats to express their displeasure. The police should have either allow the fans express their anger as they were not attacking the other teams supporters or should have managed the chaos well. Clearly, this shouldn't have happened or could have been avoided
May those lost souls rest in peace but have we learned anything yet. NO. The police must always be dispersed among the spectators in any gathering to maintain order. We've failed and not learning, 23 years down the lane.
it's been a long time these two teams started playing nasty football ,but today's presenters will tell us that this game is far better than today's game
I was at the stadium. It was rather hearts fans from nima bcos they blocked all the outlet gates and punching every one wearing red jersey so the other supporters rushing to go out had to push those blocking the outlets who were mostly hearts fans from nima and this is why most of the fans who died were hearts supporters from nima so stop blaming kotoko fans
How did blocking the gates cause Kotoko fans from destroying the seats and throwing into the pitch? How did that also make the police fire tear gas into the crowd?? You are just being biased towards the fans of your club.
The kotoko fans started vandalising the seats, and instead of the police to calm them down, they rather worsened the situation by firing teargas and in rush for people to save their lives the gates were already locked and that caused the problem.
Massa, take your bias somewhere else. It is shown on camera that the Kotoko supporters, which you are part of, started destroying stadium property and throwing objects onto the pitch. This was the cause. If you have nothing to say, keep quiet.
All this while, i thought The game never ended. Even watching this i thought Hearts was the problem since the opening goa; kotoko scored was not that clear in my view. Hmmmmm
But why were they throwing things on the pitch. Lack of knowledge my people perish. The police no try koraaaa they caused the death of innocent people by using tear gas
Even that time the pitch was even better than this current pitches..ghana league..apuuuu
ghana league was never like this again after this year
Both goals were not supposed to be accepted… it really sad many souls was lost to such unfairness 😢
When Ghana football was at its peak
RIP to all fine souls
I'm very sad after watching this video because I never knew hearts of Oak had talented players like this and they play good football 😢

The police as a unit was unprofessional...they contributed 90% to the death of the spectators...
But why were they throwing things on the pitch.
