I am planning to build something like this in my hometown ayem Oda, the astro pitch they recently did in Oda old town is now wedding, funnel, party and Cattle park. I am bringing my group of investors from the states, we will build 40 thousand capacity in Oda area. We will manage by ourselves. Period
We used to play school league on this park back days and now turn into this beautiful stadium..much thanks to goldfields but maintenance is the problem
most local clubs dont have a company like goldfields to donate this to them. Medeama couldnt have been able to afford this $13mil stadium. A whole region dont even have this bono or eastern region
The funny thing is, from the moment its inaugurated, it will be used for all National football games for almost a year, just like they're doing to the Legon stadium now.
If the gave to me to manage the place I can do it. All I need to a money, maintenance and cleaning crew that all. I can use the money to buy the equipment and cleaning supplies

They need to find a modern way of building a modern pitch, which can last all year long , I’m talking about the grass . This is in done south America and Dubai / Saudi where weather is extremely hot. I believe this can done . This can only be done if they invest and train people about pitch maintenance and learning from the best , which is Europe and now Saudi/UAE
Don't compare ug to tarkwa stadium.... The UG has athletic tracks of international standards. Also esthetic designs are vastly different. The access (roads and utilities) are different. Last the GHC has depreciated against the dollar. $15m in Ghana today is not same $15m 15 years ago
