Rabbi Michael Skobac, Director of Education of Jews for Judaism presents "UNDERSTANDING THE ORAL TORAH". Judaism teaches that in addition to the Torah, which was given to the Jews at Mount Sinai, there also exists an Oral Law: Jews for Jesus, Messianic Jews and Jewish Christians don’t think so. Of course God can give revelation beyond the written word. But how do we identify what is from the true God and what is from man?
I'm finding this whole thing funny, the Jewish commentary is opening up the word of Hashem in ways I didn't think possible. Answering questions that I have been asking for years. Keep these videos going.
thank you Rabbi Skobac for sharing your pronounce view to Oral Law. It is not a thank you due to or based on whether I liked it or not, but because it brings forth Light to an often familiar dark place of sola scriptura! I remind myself often that scripture is to be taken to heart, but never as a "feel-good" approach, to later quantize my very own projections.
I'm so impressed by the way he logically and clearly discussed the role of the judges in putting together the bible... For me, it blew away the protestant doctrine of sola scriptura...
Rabbi Skobac is so clear, so lucid and exemplary in the manner with which he explains the oral Torah! Thank you Rabbi for your service to the Jewish people and in fact the entire world.
I believe the sabbath should be a day to enjoy your God family and friends with rest and rejoicing before the God of Israel.

Here's some Oral from me to you. Snakes don't talk, never have. Adam and Eve were completely at fault. It was an act of Free Will. They lied to God when they made up the snake story. Deal with it. Stop whining.

I was a christian, but I was skeptical bc it was barbaric to me & started studying Hebrew anyway, I keep returning to this man bc the way he teaches is very understandable to me & I am hoping I am not lost & still can be a child of the God I still believe in.

The witnessing of the Jewish people, and the prophecies written by these Sages, have proved that everything that is written in Torah, is true because ALL THE PROPHECIES are coming out as it is a witness today of all the thing that are happening today. For example the return of our people, from the four corners of the world. Those who were blinded by the haters of the children of Hashem, blessed is He, with their attempt to destroy everything related to our faith all over the world, HAVE NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL, because Israel is still alive today, and strong. And our brothers and sister throughout the world are coming back. Hashem, blessed is He, is revealing HIMSELF to all of us. I am a witness to that. I, and my ancestors were murdered and forced to accept a false doctrine, and forced to run throughout the world for their safety, and for a while lost their faith, lost the knowledge of the Torah, but never lost our heritage, because we are the children of Hashem, blessed is He, who said that we were the chosen ones. I am not trying to show off that I am a special child or anything like this matter. What I am trying to convey is that the Word of Hashem, blessed is He, is not an empty lie, the Torah is True. And the whole world is soon to realize this truth. I am a witness to this great miracle in my life. I grew up as a Catholic, and Hashem, blessed is He, is the ONE True God who showed me where I came from, who my ancestors were. I believe, that the whole world is against us, but we, the Hebrew people, need to trust in Hashem, blessed is He, that the Redemption is coming soon. B"H
