Hi Max, this PCB is not to replace the stock TCM. This is to bypass the valves inside for the use of aftermarket controller, hence can't be used with standard installations.
Nice work man iv just plugged in my turbolamik and i have a short to ground fault on speed sensor 2 do you think i possibly messed up with the soldering or mashed the sensor putting it back together
@ryutech_automotive is there a difference in PCB between an HTG and a Turbo Lamik? The reasoning behind the question... Let's say, I'm using an HTG TCU, then decided to switch to Lamik. Will there be a difference between the circuit boards?
Ooh this was painful to watch for many reasons. I've got one of these gearboxes. No idea what this modification is for, but I can solder, I'm an engineer, Painful. Use a toothbrush to leave any metal filings on top of the old circuit board? Mental.
The fact that you have no idea what this is for; an 'engineer' would think about searching google for 'why' and try to understand complexity of modification rather than thinking 'painful' :)
@@ryutech_automotive Brutal bro, he could be a bridge engineer right? Also his comment seems spur of the moment, and he just didn’t care enough to research. But I do see your point as well.
@@MechaniclifeJDM The solder methods in the video might not be the best, nor using the best of equipment, the purpose of this is that installers (garage) can follow through with off the shelf tools. He does have a point for using toothbrush, but if you ever do the modification you'll know that it is quite frustrating to clean thoroughly.
That was a Masterclass in Soldering!
Hi! Great job! Is it works with standard bmw software? Can I use this instead of programming the transmission immo?

@@ryutech_automotive Thank you! I understand now.

Check continuity between speed sensor 2 and TCM body. See if the solder connects them
@ryutech_automotive
I have now sorted it it turns out it was a faulty pin on the tcu itself changed the pi and I'm cooking 🍳

All the boards seem cross compatible
@turbowankel1264 thanks!
Question: Did you replace the 4 plastic rivets when finished?
We put a dash of epoxy covering the used to be rivets, but it is not necessary because the plastic cover has a lot of latching locks.

Do you like turbo lamik or HTG controller better? And why?
Lamik imo
@@BEYTEK why bro?
only HTG. Closed loop works perfectly. You can launch, do transbrake. Also HTG does frequent updates.
Maybe you don't know ZF6HP26 Audi pinout wiring?

Do you get any codes from doing this?
It is for a standalone controller so it will not be compatible with oem functions
Can you do this for a 6hp?
Possibly yes if there are demands for it
Demand
Can this be done for Benz 722.9 the control strategy seems simple enough
Contact HTG Tuning for the control, they might have plans to add it in the future
