Love that you showed your real house! I'm sure you had to stage somewhat for the camera, but when I look at my house and then see "perfect" homes on here, it only discourages me. This was helpful!
1. Pick up all trash, and throw away. 2. Move all out of place large furniture pieces back to where they’re supposed to be. 3. Collect all dirty laundry, and either place in laundry basket or wash them. 4. Make the bed. 5. Tidy up anything out of place (dishes not in the sink, books not on the shelves, clean clothes not put away). 6. Wash the dishes, AND put them away immediately. Clean counters for bonus points after your put away the dishes. 7. PUT AWAY the clean laundry.
What a great idea. I had never considered doing a reset but that's a really great idea. The specific list can be different for everyone but just the concept is brilliant! Thank you so much for taking the time to create this video explaining the process. Now I need, no, now I WANT to go figure out what my home reset list will be.
I gotta say, two hours wouldn’t even touch my house. I mean, a two bedroom apartment, sure, but not my whole house. Not with the micro-tidy anyway. I am planning to try this today and move the micro tidying to the end and just see how long it takes/how good it looks. I feel like micro tidying one room in my house would take an hour!
Whenever I get ready to leave the house I do a quick tidy up. It is so nice when you come home & walk into a clean home & it usually only takes a few minutes before you leave.
Great tips. Just curious, when you say a "clean" room do you really mean a tidy one? It's just that in the UK clean means to hoover & dust etc. Just a friendly tip, I noticed that you put an Amazon padded envelope in your rubbish bag. It's really important to remove the address label first before putting it in the rubbish. Before I got a dishwasher I used to wipe up straight away after I'd washed up. To me, having stuff on the draining board makes a kitchen look untidy.
I like your basic steps, but with two boys, a parakeet, and two dogs in the house, we really need to keep the floors clean and the food and water dishes clean as well.
Love the 7 Reset steps
Great - so glad you love them!!

Oh yes - my house gets cluttered just like everyone else's!

Love this!!
I use my dishwasher as a dish drainer. I don’t like drying them…this way they are off the counter and in the am I put them away.
That is a cool idea!! Thanks for sharing!
wow fun and practical! Thank you for sharing :)
Good suggestions for a quick tidying up of the whole house!

Sweep, vacuum and mop the floors.

I would include the bathroom.

Nope. Dishes first.
