2003 arctic cat 500i

this atv was in a bad flood and some how survived so that may be why it is slower than the other 500. this 500i has a suzuki automatc 500cc engine moving this thing to only 45-50mph while the other 500 that has more miles and is also older is moving to 60mph with the same engine

This is a 2002, no a 2003. 2002 had lower compression than 2003 making them less powerful. I can tell it is a 2002 because of the belt cover. I own a 2003 and it will do close to 60mph. The stock speedos are junk. Never accurate. I have an aftermarket speedometer that is right on.
