How thee heck am I just now seeing this!! Urrr! Yes you have to use alcahol to wipe it off really well before applying again. They look sooo pretty!!! I never even thought of how fast to fire the luster firing!! That’s so awesome!! The lusters look different on different color glazes. You may want to make a test tile of a lot of colors and then apply a stripe of each lustre on them?? I know they are crazy expensive though. I’d love to see how you applied the lusters. My old ceramics teacher taught us to use our finger to apply MOP and to swirl it around in circles until it gets sticky!! Then I watch you do it and you have gloves and a respirator on! Haha. I can’t believe how much you and your mom laugh alike! There is also a product called gold remover or something like that. Thanks for the video. Don’t forget to swirl and swirl the mop to make it really show up!!

Try using a metal oblique calligraphy pen...for the writing . The kind where you put the ink in a little well.
