I was so excited when this started… but nothing is wired up… I don’t understand why this small part was overlooked. Even if it is for hanging on a wall, it should still be playable …
The whole time you’re putting the pieces in I am thinking, when will he place some tubes to pass the wires through? You could have even run them under the landscape to hide them …
Uff
I give you a 9 for creativity in design style. I am sorry but I cannot rate the overall since it doesn’t work
Happy holidays
I thought the same... it *looks* awesome, but why just end it there..? It's beautiful, but felt like I was still waiting for the payoff at the end.
Of all the guitar builds I've seen, this is certainly one of them.
Only thing that could make this better would be to actually hear how it sounds.
Obviously you know it's not going to sound like a Rebel Bass 😂
@@blinky1369Oh ya! lol. I realize that this is just an art project and not intended to be a 'great' guitar but given the density of the resin (which will have a higher resonating frequency over wood, thus making the sound sharper) and what looked like a low-end single coil pickup (also making the sound sharper), I'm really curious how nasty this would sound. Also, given there's no truss rod in the neck, it's not gonna be playable for long.
Probably sounds like Chewbacca yelling.
I've seen a guy mounting a guitar bridge on the edge of a work table, mounting tuners on a different table, putting strings in and a pickup underneath Without any body or anything else, just strings suspended in space, and it played Awesome. So, most of the sound in an electric guitar probably depends on the hardware and the position of the pickup relative to the strings. My opinion.
@@67skins75 Inasmuch as there is no wiring from the pickups to the end jack, it's gonna be pretty quiet.
You built a star wars themed guitar shaped ornament. Cool, but not what was expected.
Nice "looking" build!! Though from the video it's just something to hang on the wall, it's not wired up at all! It's a guitar shaped piece of sculpture... if you want a scifi guitar look at the album cover to Quicksilver Messenger Service's Just For Love ...
Absolutely brilliant! A guitar body as 3D art....the possibilities are endless. The most expressive and imaginative 'canvas' i have ever seen!
Kudos and respect from Canada.
It's not electric, because it contains no wiring. It's barely even a guitar (check out the strings at 08:51). It's a guitar-shaped ornament with Star Wars figures embedded in resin. It would surely be more interesting if you used that technique, but made something useful like a coffee table.
What else is it then ????, it's certainly not acoustic. Doesn't need 21st century copper wiring, it's Sci Fi.😏
@@brucepickess8097 Like I said, it's an ornament.
You had me at "Sci Fi Guitar".
I liked the back side better and I watched Star Wars in 1977 in the theater when I was 12 yrs old so I am a Fan ..
Awesome job. Love your second channel, but also like your comments and jokes. Great job!
What in the HELL happened in the third act? The strings??? The electronics???? Man pls tell us you're gonna fix that
THANK YOU. personally, i was thrown off the moment i saw him paint that beautiful wood white.
Great combination of two of my favourite things, a Tele shape guitar and my favourite Star Wars film. Well done, once again.
I've enjoyed watching your guitar builds, but this one really made me smile. 😊
Absolutely brilliant you are an excellent woodworker love all your videos
Cool build, only thing to make it better would be to see some finishing product on that wood to make it pop. Specially the back, has some incredible grain, would look beautiful! The fret board was looking so sad and dry. I hope you add some finishing oils for the wood, caude that beautiful epoxy would deserve to go with a shiny wood.
Electric guitar without the “electric”…. Nice for in a museum. Definitely not for players. Wallhanger.
What a beauty! Amazing work, as usual!!
Thank you so much 😀
I saw the snowscape and assumed it was a Xmas themed axe....when he pulled the AT-AT out, I burst out laughing and had to see the end.
Need to hear the Empirial March played on it.
That’s sick bro…!!
masterpiece, NICK!!! u hit hard in tele/starwars lovers
ah ah 😄 how did you connected pickups to control pots ???
Awesome work man. I Star Wars diorama in the body of a guitar. Super, super cool. Thanks for posting.
But it doesn’t work as a guitar ? What is the point, or is it just an ornament?
Sci-fi guitar
Why shouldn't it?
No wiring
Dumb, art is the feeling
If Nick made it, it works but this was one of his silent videos
My 2 favourite things in the entire world... guitar's and starwars. Bloody cool stuff.
Nice job on a pour build. Only suggestion I would offer is that neck & headstock could have been finished in keeping with the theme of the body. Keep up the good work.
A guitar shaped object. It's not an electric guitar unless one can plug it into an amp and play music with it. Could be considered art I guess.
Excelente todo! Muy bueno 👌
Watch again
Love your stuff. This looks like something you've done before?
Looks pretty cool, Nick!
Another GREAT piece Nick! Thanks for the artistry.
Really cool piece
You had me at "I Built"😂
It's probably not even a wall hanger cause too heavy, for fans only
Your RUclips insanity knows no bounds, but Luke would be proud.
How did you hide all the wiring ?
If you look closely, you can see the artist has cleverly hidden the wiring just there, on a shelf at the lutherie supply store. This kind of concealment is the result of meticulous planning, and required the artist to expressly not order any wires at all for this project.
That is so effing cool man!! I missed your voice though :(
Dude, this is so good!
Honestly thats such a cool guitar. 1 small nitpick that i have is that i feel like you could have put a layer epoxy and then set the ships on top of that layer instead of having poles that they are on top of. thats my only suggestion though, great job
следующий проект будет аквариум гитара с живыми рыбками, травкой и конечно аэратором. ледовская подсветка будет оживлять жизнь в аквариуме-гитаре.
That turned out so good!!
Incredible ❤ love the back too
Looks awesome
Wiring?
Love it! Amazing!
Nick I watch you all the time. Your shop coat is really nice do you have a link so I can possibly buy one
How does it sound when played ..?
do you have a waffled version of this video. i love all your work and appreciate your shorter videos but kinda miss the commentary when its not there.
Awesome work as always Nick 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Absolutely incredible!! Take these to the NAMM show!!😉
It can’t be played with no wiring
That’s just brilliant
Happy Thanksgiving to you and the family Nick! Thank you for all you do 🤝🍻👍 Love the guitar. I play a little myself
Ah ah ah, I think you forgot the wires, which means you are not a musician…
⭐⭐⭐cool ⭐⭐⭐star wars🔥guitar🔥
Very cool!
Another awesome one off guitar Nick, what is the most amount of resin you have used on a Guitar Project 👍
thanks to all of you for watching my second channel. all asmr. tell me where you are watching from ?
With a little more effort, you could have made it functional...
oh my god, how did i not notice until i read your comment...
You raise the bar higher with every great project Nick..absolutely awesome man
This is monu-MENTAL. ❤❤❤
That's a beauty.
Excellent job
Stunning piece of work that is amazing ,🎉❤
Honest opinion here. I like the concept, but The final result, I'm not really a big fan of. I didn't like a lot of your choices, especially with the pickguard thing. But overall, pretty cool thing. Just saying honest opinion....
really cool 😎 but you should play them so we could hear 👂🏻how they sound 🔊
Awesome work
Oldie but still beautiful
I want to see someone build a Vulcan harp . I want to hear what it sounds like.
Did it sell?
Awesome!
Beauty!
Nice job. It looks like this would be heavy. Is it?
what a waste of beautiful burl, the back and sides, natural wood, look better than the front. could have just made a mold of the burl pieces then pour cast white resin into the silicon molds, saving the original wood burl for something beautiful, instead of wasting it on some disappointing star wars diorama landscape, that would look better on a toilet seat, than guitar. I guess it would be a display piece, but my guess is if it was used as real guitar, it would break at the neck joint.
Truly exceptional.
That's one HOTH guitar right there ;)
Instead of a Hofner, it’s a HOTHner!
What’s the point of making this brutal epoxide guitar when you finish it with cheap chinese kit parts and don’t even play it?
Look at it. Look at the strings. It can't even be played as an acoustic.
That is a paper weight with a few guitar parts screwed on to it.
You didn't strum it for us 😢 (nicely done) 🤟🇨🇦
fantastic project😊😊
all though i prefer the banta
Love the Video... Miss the Waffle!!!!
LUKE! I AM YOUR GUITAR, LUKE!
Ice Planet HOTH Guitar!!!
Nice build as always you make it look easy can you tell me where i can get the tape from please
I would have a look at 'Olivers Woodturning' 👍🏻
Genuinely no offense intended, but I enjoy the non-waffles a lot. Happy thanksgiving from your American friends!
Is it for sale
Beautiful
It is unfortunate that there is no colors-LED flashes laser of light...
Another terrific video presentation Nick. Loving the style showcasing your design, artistry and craftsmanship without the distracting voiceover and needless commentary. Peace brother
The b string is in the groove of the g string on the nut 😅
Does Charlie get to play your custom guitars?
haha he does indeed
Hey could you make me a 1932 Model T Rat Rod 😊 . 🇺🇸☮️
Es una guitarra fantástica
The back is almost as cool as the front.
I DO love you videos Zammo, but!!! your "waffle" is a very important part of the enjoyment, for them who don''t like it give a warning at the beginning to turn off the volume.. ♥
Awesome. Where can I get mine? 🎸
“Space opera” guitar
Nice. Hopefully copyright owners don't see this
What a great idea and so well executed!
Alright Buster Keaton, enough with the silents and lets get back to the talkies. This is 2023 you know.
That is cool. But where's the Sci-Fi?
Hmmmmm, let me think, Star Wars .
