He caught attention during the finals. He was reading Devin like a book We all knew then how good he was but too lazy to analyze it and so, this video exist to save a lot of time.
Great breakdown, I don’t think people notice how big Holiday is to, the nba has had him listed at 205 pounds for a while now, team USA has this man tipping the scales at 229 pounds right now. Jrue is an absolute tank at that point guard position. His lateral quickness is unreal at that weight along with his strength, no surprise hes able to bully point guards and don’t move when players try to bump him.
than nba players have always said he is a true baller.. look it up. they been saying it for years! every superstar that have played against him have said it.
@@rapslove9873ol every coach has said Jute Holiday is an elite guard since at least 2014 but casuals like you wouldn’t be able to buy a clue if you won the lottery.
Killer vid bro. As a bucks fan, Jrue has always been my favourite player outside the team and when he signed this season...man I can't tell you how stoked I was!
Great analysis, this dude is a beast and you'll immediately notice that anyone he's on immediately gets uncomfortable and generally becomes inefficient. Such a good player.
2:47 i always forget how complex basketball can be. People like to downplay it with "just run and shoot the ball" but notice how the Bucks keep track of how many refs there are and how many can actually see whats going on. They even use that to their advantage.
Same for soccer, and probably many other sports like Boxing … In soccer the field is so big that you can’t analyze every players, as a fan, you just focus on who has the ball, but it’s only when you watch with the eyes of an analyst that you see all the off ball movements, all the communication between the players, with their body or their voices, you see that scoring a lot of what we call « tap in », it’s when the players is alone and just has to push the ball in the goal isn’t easy, when you score 3 every seasons maybe yes its luck, but when you score 40 like Ronaldo or Lewandoski, it’s all about out smarting the defense. But people will always like the Kyrie Irving and Curry of Soccer more, the Neymar, Messi, young Ronaldo, Ronaldo Nazario, Ronaldinho, Henry, Pogba, Mbappe, Dembele, Robinho ect because they are entertaining, they kill you in 1 vs 1, can put of their ass a whole defense (4players), and shoot the ball from far, with power and accuracy. They score tap in, but most of the time they score beautiful goals, but at the end of the day, who is better ? The guy who score 40goals with 15 tap in and the rest is just beautiful goals or the guys who score 40 goals in wich 35 are tap in ? That’s the question i still can’t answer, i don’t know, because at the end of the day it’s the same, just like when Shaq was dominating everyone, averaging 29ppg for a decade with ugly Dunks, at the same time you had MJ, averaging around 30, but with beautiful fadeaways, jumpers after amazing footwork and pumpfake …
Amazing analysis my friend, well done! I still don’t think the casual’s will understand though because they don’t want to! Thanks for the video, do one on Giannis Defense next!
Hello, as you all know my purpose is to not monetize this channel but to encourage all to donate to any foundation/charity/non-profit to support the channel. I want to ask if anyone has an idea of how we can publish our donations to show the progress we have made. I was thinking of a shared excel file where we can comment on where you donated to and how much and include a screenshot. What does everything think? Please let me know on this comment section or email at mambadetail@gmail.com Thank you all and new Terance Mann video coming soon!
Love this. The intangibles aren't seen in stats. But dang if Jrue isn't worth his weight in gold. There's a reason KD says JH is the best defebder in the league. HOFer!!
You have gained a new subscriber my friend, your content is quality maybe make sure to work on your tone so it sound less monotone but you have great foundations to be a great ball channel.
Literally this why the bucks are amongst the top favourites to win the title next year. Elite defensive players. Unless you're a healthy brooklyn or lakers, you're not beating this team in 7 games
Shows how important refs are. Saw plenty of games that didn't allow this much contact. Not saying he's fouling but what the refs allow is very important.
Strength is the main tool to his defense. He's able to fight screens and switch to bigger guys in the paint. It's funny to me seeing how people are realizing he's the elite defender at the guard position, over guys that sold the media a notion of being great defenders.
great stuff, thanks a lot. can i say sth though, if you keep the speaking speed a bit faster, maybe better, you dont need to be like S.A. Smith like high pitch shouting, but i just found the voice bit slow and flat for me.
Thank you for the feedback! My audio is still a work in progress I know. I am fairly new to video editing and voice recording so thank you for the advice!
@@MambaDetail I agree, amazing video and a little more enthusiasm in your voice and better mic quality in the future could help push you over the edge and get the views you deserve. Great vid keep it up.
@@samrosenthal3227 Thank you as well for the feedback! My recording equipment isnt the best and I am not an expert at voice recording. I am playing around with certain voice editing effects so its always a work in progress!
You could make the exact same argument, for several other aspects of the game, where the rules are being inforced inconsistently, or not at all. Just look at how Harden Or Lue go to the rim, with no intention to finish, only looking to initiate contact. Game isn't fair for anyone 🤷
You aren't wrong- but they just allow tons of contact in the NBA playoffs. Watch Booker in this video push off Jrue with his elbow- definitely a foul but only was called once in the entire series. Playoff basketball is just different- teams just try to adjust to what the refs will allow.
Elite analysis. Well done mate.

You know he got all of this from somebody else. (Another video)
He's not a basketball player that came up with this all by himself.
It’s so weird seeing people make videos on Jrue. No one was talking about him on the Pels. Good vid bro.
I have a previous video with clips from Jrue’s Pelicans days. Maybe you should check it out too! Thank you for the kind words.
Jrue was INSTRUMENTAL in the Bucks championship. Could not have done it without him!

Yeah jrue has been like this his whole career but only few have noticed until he got onto the bucks.
I watched him in Nola when they swept the blazers is when I took notice of how great he was.

He finally getting that recognition.
Dudes Defence been underrated ever since 2K14 days
It will not last long enjoy it !! Plus we all know they will jot win anything anymore there lucky the nets were hurt

I tried to tell people how valuable this man is. We wouldn't have gotten that far without him.
W vid for the youngish for learning new tricks in defense which is highly underrated.

Great defensive observations. Even the commentators weren’t this detailed in their analysis of the series. 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿

I think that the first clip you showed should have been a blocking foul, he just jumped into Booker's path.
Moral of story don’t ever compare booker to kobe. Kobe was to elite had to many counter moves, he knew his opponents
Yeah I seen him lock up Dame Lilliard before
Couldnt some of these be seen as a blocking foul since his feet aren't even on the ground?
I see now why he missed so many shots. Working too hard on defense.

booker was probably crying to the ref that Jrue wasn't giving him enough room to bash jrue with his shoulder or his arm.
Jrue was so vital for the bucks. And yes, casuals have no idea

your voice is better than sleep medication; great vid though
great video but put more energy in your voice next time
The bucks wanted it more for sure
No they won’t why bc some guy we don’t know shows his best plays of the playoffs lol he 130 years old
Jrue Holiday is Booker’s daddy

could your put a bit more energy in your speech plz ? felt asleept
Are you sleepy my dude?
Useless with KD
dude casual fans only know fancy crossover and dunking
Holding, whether with legs or hands, is a foul. Holliday is being allowed too much leeway.
You get away with more in the playoffs but I agree certain players get away with more than others
