I have the test on July 3rd to attend a grammar school, last time i was 13 marks off and now i will try even harder go get in, this video helped alot! Wish me luck!
@@Prepopedia When do you recommend me to revise as last time I done the test I revised a week before and got 111 :(, I will let you know if I passed the test and get into grammar (Im level F btw)
I would keep revising as much as you can, until one day before the exam. I recommend focusing on the topics you struggle with because that's where you can make the biggest impact and improve your score.
This video has helped me with my preparations for the GL Assessment CAT4. Tomorrow - I am going to complete this test in order to get in Year 9 next year. I really love studying but this test is very hard, even though I usually like tests. I am Level F, and I really hope I pass! Have a great evening.
Hi i like the video. By the way,I am doing a level d test and it is on Monday this following week. Do you have any more videos for the level d specifically. Or free things on your website for the yr 7 test? I was behind on studying and now I need to catch up. I saw your channel and decided to give it a go. Any tips that you have will be received warmly and gratefully. THANK U!

Hi, which test level are you taking? The best method is to practice as many questions as you can, since the rules and patterns repeat themselves, so you'll be able to recognize them quicker during the actual test. For example, in Figure Matrices many times the rules involve clockwise/anti-clockwise rotations. In Figure Classification, it can be colors, numbers of sides, number of shapes, etc. The higher your test level, the more complex these rules and patterns will be.
Sure, here's the most straightforward method: First, check the connection between the numbers on the first pair on the left. Start with basic addition/subtraction/multiplication/division. Then, check if the same connection exists in the second pair. If not, it must be a two-step calculation. In most cases, the first step out of the two will be multiplication/division and then subtraction/addition. After you find this connection using a two-step calculation, check it on the second pair. Finally, apply it to the third pair to find the correct answer.
Hey, for the first question, look at the top three shapes and check their mutual characteristics. Each figure has only straight sides and contains three small white inner shapes. The three inner shapes are comprised of two shapes with sharp corners and a circle. Now, you need to choose an answer choice that has the same characteristics. Answer 2 has the exact same features, so it's the correct answer. Answer 5 might look like the correct answer, but it includes two circles instead of one, so it's incorrect. Last question: you need to find the answer choice that includes the given top shape (right-angled triangle) in its exact size and orientation. Only answer 1 contains this small right-angled triangle, so it's the correct answer.
