I'VE FINALLY FIGURED OUT WHY MALIDICTION OF RUIN DIDNT WORK. It's because there's a quest battle you have to do in order to start the effects of the hex. Once reggie confirms the hex you can see a quest pop up on the side of the screen. I found this out by a comment and playing the hag mother
@@thelordofthelostbraincells no the quest battle only appeared after the use of the hex So you basically use the hex then do a quest battle for the hex to take effect
the reason why reggie and Kleaper have so much in common is because they know each other they also have video's together even one with brilliant stupidity
10:10 The Lords (Armies) and Hero move faster setting is in the top left, the 3rd button from the right (the camera and cog). Setting your Lords (Armies) and Heroes to fast is quite good and setting neutral faction to fastest, and Enemy to fast if you are paying attention can save you some time (there is a tab/rider where you can set it for every individual faction but like...). Those settings return to normal on the start of a new campaign unless you get the mod "save camera settings" that lets you have a save/load function for it, which I think you can just allow loading on campaign start and doesn't need any further interaction after the set-up (otherwise it adds a little save/load button in the camera and cog button menu. 15:40 The Rampage leading to Exhausted status is mostly because this Hex has an infinite duration and the Skaven do not have a way (, as far as I am aware, ) to stop the Rampage meaning as long as there is no enemy unit for them to attack they might just run around constantly and tiring themselves out as Reggie mentions. 29:20 Side note: There is a channel named Shadiversity that does testing and myth-busting for/on medieval weapons and armour and pop culture-related stuff around such and they have a video on how having the high ground on a 1 v 1 sword fight blows (HIGH GROUND actually SUCKS and STAR WARS Lied...). For armies with big shields and archers, it is super, tho.
I think Reggie's mod might have broken Baba Yaga's hex, and aside from that, there's ways to get around -70 leadership using Lords, heroes, spell buffs, banners and unbreakable units. Reggie likely didn't invest in those because you don't normally need them, the AI typically doesn't leadership bomb you. As for what causes it, Undead can invest heavily in Leadership reduction, especially when defending against siege battles, but I personally never saw -70 before. The Wood Elf settlement maps favour the Wood Elves to an extreme degree, so even though they don't have walls, fighting them there is a terrible idea. Pancreas also doesn't have heroes/units made to protect the Treeman, which is why it died the first time in the quest battle. He might've also skipped over the intro that states how the Treeman is going to move and what he'll do (usually they tell you). As for the campaign itself, he was probably going to die. Without an army, Festus and the other chaos factions have a massive chance of re-declaring war on him because they're opportunists, and Vlad would've respawned literally the next turn thanks to his ring. Just like Grim Kleaper though, he declared victory and closed the campaign before he suffered the consequences of his actions. Gotrek (and Felix, they're a pair) is available for recruitment to Bretonnian, Empire and Kislev armies, so long as you build a bar. Lastly, the setting that changes the overworld walking animation speed can be altered by pausing after your turn is over, then adjusting the animation pop-up in the upper left corner. Edit: Actually thinking about it more, Vlad might've unlocked the bloodline perk that makes you immune to attrition on uncorrupted lands, and perhaps that prevented Ostankya's hex from working, after he used the chant to purify the land. Either that, or he had crazy abilities that allowed his attrition in vampiric provinces to beat out the attrition. His cities also wouldn't be affected since taking away growth just changes how fast you can develop a province, it doesn't make existing cities weaker.
Certain vampire count lords and heroes as you said can get leadership reduction for enemy armies in the region and in the clip where he assualt’s Vlad’s capital you can see a large amount of Vlad’s armies in the territory further north. So that makes me think that all those armies simply had a bunch of leadership reduction that just stacked to point where they hit -70. 31:42 is where you can see this
the steamroller clip at 8:41 is from a movie called Maximum Overdrive. its from like the early 80's and the premise is that a radioactive comet passes close to earth, and makes all vehicles sentient and psychotically violent. or something like that. pretty sure AC/DC did the soundtrack.
31:50 If I identified correctly, these are stacks of vampire character traits. Very old abuse For lords and heroes of vampire counts, a trait is available when recruited that reduces the discipline of all enemy armies in the REGION by 4. You can reroll a couple of dozen characters with this trait and simply lead them side by side (not necessarily in a single army) In battle, you just need to approach the enemy with negative discipline and instant victory occurs Beastmen have the same trait, Legend had an old video dedicated to this I didn’t think that AI was capable of using this abuse in this way, perhaps it’s a matter of VERY bad luck, because of which a bunch of heroes and lords spawned with this particular trait?
dosn't have to be leftovers, the normal rezipe needs pig feet since they have that stuff in them that turns it into jello but nowdays you can just buy it in a package and use whatever meat you have
Even with lightning strike , well, you're gonna need to get some cholesterol medication because the army strat to deal with all of that will have to be a metric fuck ton of cheese.
things like the quest battle at about 14:00 is why i have the mod "auto resolve quest battles", which does as the name suggests, meaning if you want you can just bypass any quest battles you don't want to deal with but still get the item, as long as your army is good enough to get you a win through the auto resolve
As for "what is that" at 27:17 - meat jelly "holodets". Basically aspic done slightly differently. Far from the most appetizing pictures of it, but it is actually quite good. Process of making it from scratch though is absolutely not.
Have you seen the FULL Immortal Empire starting position memes? It's a collection of memes and shitposts about the faction's placement in immortal empires, I think you would like it
Fun fact about Rampage, it locks the afflicted unit into melee mode so if you have a way to hit a ranged unit with Rampage, then they won't be able to use their ranged weapons until Rampage wears off (if it wears off)
if you are ever interested in challenge runs BrilliantStupidity is also a great channel i personally recommend his using bodily fluids to commit Warcrimes video its a great video that shows how broken and unbalanced changling can be.
Yes tbh they do Lore of Beasts but I do believe that there main magic is Lore of the Hag I think it's called that because it was shown in the Shadows Of Change update. Again I could be wrong but I still do believe that is what it is also side note loving your content been watching for awhile now keep it up bud😁🤙🏻.
i utterly hate the akshina ambushers, tier 2 unit performing like a tier 4-5 unit, such a stupid example of powercreep which is another reason i was against the dlc other than the high price for very little
Mother Ostankya can really pull a "You're going to Brazil" and express mail you to Gor-Rok's doorstep.
It used to be called "cornfielding" someone.
It's pretty damn hilarious. That and freezing armies in place for multiple turns. So overpowered.
Gave 'em the Angron treatment.

It also seems Vlad had a city that he had stolen from the dwarves next to his capital, so there's also that to consider.
In case you haven't read the other comment that explained it, nah, you need to do a Quest Battle to set the Hex in effect.

Not just directed. If I remember right, he wrote or helped to write the screenplay, and it was based on a short story or book he published.
