Interesting that they put the digital track on top of the regular track. Also interesting is that most all the racing was done on the middle two lanes. Maybe just need a longish straight section of track that is 4 lanes and then narrow it down to 2 lanes. 4 lanes looks cool but only for the start of the race. Thanks for sharing this video Pete 👍
@@SewfastSpeedway I've raced in those circumstances, the cars and drivers are much too closely matched for that. When a track goes back to two lanes there isn't usually time to switch to the 3rd or 4th and execute a pass before being forced back together, so even more than you see here the cars race in just two. Even on this layout a passing maneuver can take a long time with the cars running within a few car lengths for several laps. FYI the top three cars on overall position after 6 hours were covered by just 11 laps!
