Smite 2 will be just a patch of smite 1. They did this exclusively to sell more skins. The people who buy skins in smite already have great skins for all gods, so they’re migrating the game mostly to force these people to buy their skins all again. I’m totally expecting smite 2 to be just like Smite 1

This would make sense if the skins for Smite 2 weren't new or the fact that Hirez could just keep making skins for Smite 1 which they still are 😅
