A tragically rare testament to the live power of Scotland's greatest rock band and the charisma of their leader. This was the OGWT that made me an instant fan. Everyone was talking about it the next day at school - well, all the cool kids anyway
@@pressureworks For a band that was so popular in the UK in the 1970s there is very little good footage of them. This is probably the best quality film that exists. Their Christmas shows in 1975 at the Glasgow Apollo were legendary, but none of that tour was filmed.
How magnificent it is! What a band!! Give My Compliments To The Chef - what a song!!! Zal Cleminson pulls through with lots of pumping guitar riffs!!!! Love it!!!!!
No one in Italy know SAHB, i discover they casually. They were really sensational, and deserved more fortune and consideration. I would like to know more things about their carreer

Unafraid, unashamed... not a care aside from making great music with an artistic and humorous flair.
I'm new to this! But they're astounding!
You know that Major 7s break my bones. Utterly terrifying, absolutely captivating, infinitely watchable ❤
Really unbelievable, what they did live.....Alexˋ incredible Singing Timing and the Bandˋs Virtuosity is breathtaking.
"There's No Lights On The Christmas Tree Mother, They're Burning Big Louis Tonight" 🤣🤣

Excellent band! First time seeing or hearing them. They broadcast a lot of BBC stuff in Canada in 75 but not that.
An incredibly "zany" band yet so talented I got into them a bit later on around '76 or so but enjoyed them so much!
I am just off to Boston Mass starting from Boston Lincs and singing the Boston Tea Party all the way!
Yeah!
😘
Superb.
Saw SAHB in Swansea 1976 do this....epic stuff!!
Give My Compliments to the Chef: always been my fave SAHB song…both super tasty and f*cking TOUGH!
special
He’s a mix of Michael Palin and Robert Shaw with the edge of Oliver Reed.
Wonderful sound.
What a band!
A truly unique act. Legendary.
Just incredible
Fun and menace❤
Utterly amazing 😍
Ted McKenna is so brill in this.
Sadly, only 2 of them left now 😢
Epic footage! Thanks OGWT.

@@scotiamusic5432 Thank you for the reply! Long live the land of the Scots!
“If it’s not Scottish it’s crap!”
Send the Roadies out for more Julio 😂
So weird, it's good.

Who was that sitting with whispering Bob at the very end?
The late Dan McCafferty. Original lead vocalist with Nazareth.
Thursdays guaranteed dry. Guaranteed dry..
Quite different from the album version I'm used to hearing.
bob seemed bobplussed part 1......
Musically on par with the attractions and blockheads.
Alex was a lion trainer and handler. Decided singing in a band was safer.
This song sucks. The lyrics anyway.
