Yeah I could make a update video of it.. I ended up just being to busy and lazy to finish the walls properly so I just used some big tarps that I got for free to temporarily cover it up. or maybe not so temporary.. we will see lol
Wny not take advantage of the whole riser height with putting the beam all the way up even if one side you cut some of the riser down to create the slope you want? Seems like would keep things dry more and you can make an overhang on all the sides to prevent water infiltration? I'd also figure like using hurricane strap material or maybe even cable rope with adjustable shackles to make X like trusses on the ends and I guess maybe the side. Can use wood as well. I'd consider beams as well for across versus the risers. Maybe would be able to bolt the cut riser or other riser material and bolt perpendicular to the riser as well across to create like a whole second story with enough beams and enough height. Then again, probably best to just have racks down the center perpindicular with just the second story beams and maybe roof beams to do that. Thanks for sharing
yeah you definitely make some good points there.. im not too concerned about making it super strong but I may use some of your ideas to help strengthen it. I thought about covering it all in wood but it has been working good as it is keeping most of the rain out. Still haven't finished it but think im just going to cover it with some tarps for this winter. I got a whole bunch of free tarps this past summer
NOT designed for lateral loads. designed for vertical loads. you might be able to get away with some light snow load but heavy accumulated snow with that intended shallow pitch is going to be potentially disastrous..
yeah I bolted them together in a few spots the cross members for the shelfs just latch in and have a safety pin to stop it from coming back out and I'm in southern Ontario Canada
That’s pretty awesome. Good thinking
Great idea using the pallet racking for roof joists. Has this held up through heavy snow load?
That is coming out nice. tHanks for the video
Can you do an update video on this project? I am considering making a tool shed this way and curious to see how it turned out

Did you bolt 🔩 them together?

this thing will be for the e waste power plant or something else?
lol right now its just going to be used for extra storage space for stuff I am keeping or trying to resell
@@scrap2cash712 ok 😉
Where are you located?
Ontario Canada.. why?
