- This episode takes me up to day 251 of my year long adventure ride around Australia and boy what a day! After parting ways with my buddy Brendan in Waratah, I double back to Corinna thinking I’d camp there. Wrong...booked out! So I cross the Pieman River on The Fat Man Barge and get the heads up from young Captain Paddy...a dirt rider too! Hmmmmm don’t like my chances of getting a wild camp on the opposite side of the river! The forest was so thick and impenetrable and without any luck, I found myself at the junction of Corinna & Heemskirk Roads! So I decide to go right towards Granville Harbour. The closer I get, the colder and windier it gets. So at the turnoff into the Harbour, I again change my mind and head further south towards Zeehan to seek shelter from the cold. Found it! Yay! Zeehan Bush Camp! Gold! Great nights sleep and the following day I take off to Spray Tunnel after a visit to Mrs Brown at the Pit Stop Cafe! Lol! Spray tunnel was beautiful but I was seeking dirt fun. With a bit of trepidation, I legged it out towards Trial Harbour and the start of the Climies Track. A Facebook buddy Richard Morriss caught my attention with a big rock...Pulpit Rock to be exact! So I take on the challenging gnarly Climies Track to get to the Pulpit Rock turn off. Wow what a ride! And without a load, it was easier but also harder as my suspension was set up for an extra 40kgs! Yikes! Lol! I made it out there to the stunning rock & panoramic ocean views! SPECtacular! And I made it back up and out and WITHOUT A DROP! Yay! This day has not ended...stayed tuned! 😁👍🏁⛺️🏍💨
Bloody Beautiful. Thanks for bringing it to us in your own way. Go Well.. Carry On.
You have a beautiful sprit Ros love watching your adventures ❤️
Living the dream. You’ve helped me decide to ditch suburbia in NSW & return to Tassie. 👍🏍🍏
OMG best move ever! Don’t forget the merino reg grundies! 🥶🤞😂 Paradise! 😍🙏
Maximum "gold" in this episode, with Ray's successful surgery and the feels conveyed when you make it to Pulpit Rock, solo, with leg length and nerves tested! You are pure grit welded to pure heart, love all this. So much!
Hahaha your words are gold chica! Yep...sista from another mista 💯! 😂🙏
Another great video, love the commentary, you're a very funny yet insightful woman,Roz.Must admit my clacker muscle was going into overdrive watching you on that gnarly Climies Track, you have some serious skills now, well done!
Hahaha don’t worry... my sphincter was working overtime too darl 💯! 😳😂 But what a rush! 😂👍🏁
Been my experience that when you see the light at the end of a tunnel , its time to step off the tracks ! , , , Let that big dam freight train go by!!! !! !!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍/10
Another great one darl! 😂👍🏁
Watching from Zane bikes and bitz shop hehehe 😝!!!
I have driven through the Tunnel back in the 70's
great riding video section of the gnarly climb from the Rock. The idea of looking far ahead goes out the window when the ruts are crisscrossing the trail. The Honda did great, as well. I also prefer the forest riding to deserts and shorelines.
You go for it my Beautiful girls carry on the adventure 🥰🏍👍
Gday Roz .. Can you imagine doing that Heemskirk Road from Zeehan to Grandville Harbour with 160 tonn load ? I did 6 days a week carting the parts for the Wind Farm. Dear Mrs. Brown sure lives up to her name .. she is a card. Did you check out the toilet ? there is a motorcycle in there and a set of handle bars as a door hand to get out. Plus the food and coffee is great. Stay safe. Hugs.
Bit of a shitty story that mate
@@lovefamilies9521 Why make a ass of yourself. If you don't like it, leave.
being surrounded by trees is cosy
Pleased to see you wearing your Garmin InReach on your person now.
I just watched an episode of million dollar bogan and he was at the same pit stop. Lol
Hahaha I’m so going to have to watch his vids! Is it on Netflix only?
Good sized boondie Roz. I thought the EPERB is a great security item for touring solo .
Yep & yep! 😁🙏 I never turn the key without first turning on the EPIRB! 🤞😂🍀
I want a job like Paddy’s - reckon I would live to a 100.
Roz .....struggling to keep up with all these uploads ..but loving them.
Keep up the good work
Carry on !
Well that was great. Had an informal gathering at a beach reserve for the father in law. Maybe 50 people. fab to see everyone and swap yarns. Sunny and breezy. Everything goes better outdoors.
Bless! Yep...nothing like fresh air and a cosy gathering at a beach reserve to lift the spirits! 😇🙏
Key word when trail riding, “momentum “, agreed ❤️
Stay off them tippy toes and stay up right waiting for next video 🥰🦘🇺🇸
Hahaha staying upright is the keyword! 🤞😂🍀 Stoked I didn’t drop it once! 😂🙏 Carry on...
Woohooo you make it there!!
Good for the soul.
Hey Roz, I haven't watched all the episodes but have you put a low seat concepts seat foam & cover on the Red Machine? I'm a short arse like you!!!
No I haven’t m8 but probably should have! 🤦🏻♀️🤞😂 I had it re-trimmed before I left Perth and it was too soft so I retrimmed it again myself in Briz with a firmer foam. Saw a Seat Concepts in Adventure Moto in Brisbane $550...should’ve got it! Butt hurties & short legs! 🤦🏻♀️😂
You are the only woman I know how wants a heavier backend 😂😂
Baaaaaahahaha gold! 🤦🏻♀️😂👍
Hey Roz. Really enjoying all your travels. My wife and I have watched every one of your videos. As my wife has the same bike as yours can relate to all your comments about the bike, especially the fact the CRF250 is quite high which makes it tricky on the rough stuff and getting on and off. We have had the suspension properly lowered on her bike and re-valved both ends. It really has made riding more enjoyable for her. Worth giving it some thought as your style of riding won’t really be affected but would certainly help being closer to the ground. It’s worth considering. By the way, how do you get those videos up so regular between all the adventures. Keep it up. We love it.😀
Awesome! Yep, great lil bikes! I’ve had a lower link installed to 40mm but unfortunately not for the benefit of lowering the bike, but for the benefit of allowing the Ohlins heavy duty spring more play. The Ohlins was necessary because of the load I’m carrying. So caught between a rock & a hard place and given some of the terrain I do with the load, I actually need the clearance. So I just keep practicing my super slow riding skills which is my weak point but one day I’ll master it! 🤞😂🍀 I do the vids in the evening when chillaxing in iMovie on my iPhone. Need to bang them out to get the data off my phone otherwise I run out of space for the next days footage. Can’t wait to get home & binge watch my journey! 😂🙏
Very enjoyable ride. On the subject of leg reach, prob being light popped the rear up a couple of cm’s so compounding the situation unless you backed off some preload.
Out of interest what was your rear Tyre pressure?
Thoroughly enjoying the journey 👍😃
Carry on 👏👌
Thanks darl...I thoroughly enjoyed riding it! 😂🙏 Yep...correct...unloaded she’s a tad taller! 🤦🏻♀️😂 I didn’t want to play with comp & preload on the Ohlins as it’s perfectly set for my luggage which I ride with 99% of the time. Was too scared I’d not get it back to where it is now! 🤦🏻♀️😂🙏 Tyre pressures were 20/22. I never go below 20lb even in deep sand. Never had a pinch flat in over 55k! 🤞😂🍀
Yaaay!... woohoo...
had the same op done after meeting a flying kangaroo while riding a few years ago.
Ouch! 😖🙏
Got the same scar, and what I call catapilla on my collar bone too
😁👍
💪👍
Turn off the light glow worms on roof
OMG where?! What roof?! Of the tunnel?! 😲 Don’t tell me I missed them?! 🤦🏻♀️😫
@@RozalynVeersma yeah on the roof of the tunnel it's amazing
