This week we explored the Western Explorer road linking the northwest with the midwest before heading to Lake Rosebury for a beautiful free camp in nature. We then meet up with our friends Tia and Jordy for a hike to Montezuma Falls and a camp in the woods near Strahan.

I’m in Tassie atm too and the changing weather 😝 at least if it’s gloomy you know the sun will come out later. I got that same epic spot at Lake Rosebery for 2 nights, each night a different stranger asked if I minded if they took the spot next to me, all good but just be prepared if your there alone you’ll likely end up with a neighbour ✌🏼

Yep the weather change in Tassie is real hahah but it’s still so beautiful. Love the cinematic in this guys so dreamy, we are looking forward to heading to the north west. Also I think we passed you guys when you were driving down to the East Coast 🚐

What absolutely beautiful camping spot . Awesome views and what a relaxing area to be in . Love seeing your old Land Rover out in nature they always look so at home out in the forest . You can deal with snakes as long as you're responsible.
Tasmania has 3 snakes, two are deadly (brown and tiger) -- don't forget to watch the ground where they may be sunbathing, or tall grass where you can't easily see.
Virtually no one dies from snakes though. Horses are our deadliest animal. No bear or cougar problems
Keep away from AU...huge spiders and snakes.
