God bless you guys! I have a 92 F150 swb with a 302 that has a quarter million miles on her! I love old Fords just like you guys do! Love this channel!
Even though I'm not a big Ford guy besides the mustang, I just purely enjoy your videos. Watching you and your family working on cars and telling dad jokes makes my day great! God bless and keep up the amazing work!
Hello Again Rev & Ole Man. If your transmission is the E40D like my 1990 F-150 has then the torque converter has a drain plug so that you can do a complete service when you drop the transmission pan & filter. Unfortunately, You better win the lottery to afford all of that transmission fluid because that transmission calls for the synthetic Mercon fluid. Regarding the lost bolts; On Friday I replaced the alternator on my 1990 F-150 with the 4.9 liter engine and dropped the bottom alternator bolt and I still have not found the bolt. If you go the aftermarket route on the alternator, You have to cut off the bottom plug and crimp the 3 rectifier wires directly to the harness. The plug that I cut off had a lot of corrosion, So your probably better off cutting it anyway. I probably saved myself $100 or more by buying through eBay than the local parts stores that would have to order the alternator in because none of them had the alternator in stock. The bottom alternator mounting or pivot bolt is 7/16-14 thread pitch by 5,inch long in case you or anyone else may need to know. Hopefully all of your family is doing well.
The ol Henry looks fairly straight thanks Rev and the ol man. we had them downunder my mates father in law had a 91 2 or 3 injected 351 windsor pulled like a train take care yall.
Great video! Reminds me of my 93 Chevy Cheyenne. Had it for 14 years. Rust got to it, but man it never died on me. Well it lost its brakes one time, but a quick trip to the parts store for a brake line was the quick fix. Also lost the water pump, again cheap and easy fix in about an hour or two. I did have a 91 F150 but the damn thing liked puking trans fluid (overheating). I didn't know much about it back then, but looking back it's an easy fix. Currently have a 2011 F150 which I traded the 93 Chevy for. Hoping for 15 years of life out of that too :D
Hey buddy good to see y'all again have a great week end good luck with the cars an trucks see you soon buddy tell your dad hellow bless you all great videos
Great to see you guys working on old vehicles. I love the style of that old Ford pick up. Sounds like it has a dead miss in the engine, it's not smooth running. The catalytic convertor might be messed up also. God bless and great work on the old iron!
I'll check the fuel pump pressure regulator first before I replace any injectors first see if it's getting vacuumed to the pressure regulator or pull the hose off and see if there's any fuel coming out the fuel regulator will release fuel into the intake if it's bad or it was get stuck cold
Hey Rev, good video .. with all that gunk in your plenum and airbox it might be wise to look at your MAP senor, without the proper measurment of air intake the Engine Control boxilator has a tough time discombobulating the fudgitery for proper air fuel mixture, a/k/a loss of power. ATB
My ol' '95 looks just like her with 161000 on the clock . I'm in the Chicago area so rust is the thing up here. Spring perches etc... Can't wait to see the rest,. Glad to see the A-TEAM of ol' Ford's back together again 👍
Good video. You guys might want to check the catalytic converter for restriction since the engine had been running rich for a while. It may be what makes it feel like the transmission is slipping.
I have a 95 F250 Super Cap XLT with the 5.7 engine. I use it now as my farm truck, but it has 210,000 miles and is still running pretty well. AC even works but it has a slow freon leak.
To remove the carbon buildup from the plenum I’d run it and spray throttle body cleaner to remove the buildup then give it a tuneup and see if it stops skipping. On the transmission I would try changing fluid and filter. Good to seeing the ole man back God Bless Y’all.
I always look forward to seeing your new videos Rev. It's good to see the Ole Man back in action bring an old Fords back to life 👍 keep up the good work guys and may God bless you and your family 👍✌️🇺🇲
I hear a dead miss under acceleration but I don't think the transmission is slipping. Those shifts sound good, but you're down on power. Plugs n' wires, see what you have. Could have one weak injector.
Good to see you guys Rev. Hope everyone is well. Another great video. Let me know if the Ole Man is going to sell that F150. God Bless and always looking for to seeing you.
Not sure if you know this but ford put a torx bolt in the center if the intake you have to have a long torx to get it out I believe it’s a t45 I had to purchase one when I was doing mechanic work
Hi Rev, It's really nice to see you and the Ole Man working together on that '92 Ford F-150. Both of you make me laugh real hard. It reminder me when my father and me work together on our cars back in home country of Trinidad and Tobago. If you need any parts for the '63 Fairlane and the '66 Mustang please let me know. My best to you and the family.
You've probably already check the trans fluid level?A vacuum line can cause the late shift too,as we all saw it jump as 2nd kicked in.The air sensor is probably coated with that oil it was breathing, and the exhaust sensor, right by the starter can't be clean after all the smoke. Those can cause all sorts of misses.
The Truck is going.Glad you figured it out. So, if you put in a bottle of transmission rebuild. That might fix your slippage problem. Thanks Rev. For another great video with a ford. Thank you for sharing!
Good Seeing You & Your Father Back At It David, You & Your Father Are Close, Like My Late Father And I Was , I Admire That Good Sir.. It Seems Like It’ll Be A Nice Rig, Once You Gentlemen Get That EFI Injection All Sorted Out..
Glad to see he back love to see u all work to get her remind me if me and my dad he Ben gona a couple yes now and ain't work on munch cents his passing seeing you all working together makes me think of the good times with my dad and makes me want to go work on are old truck
Hey Rev great job you and your father did on the truck, Hey I think the ole man story time can be a big hit!! Just a idea maybe cut you a piece of cardboard to slide under the vehicle to help if you drop a bolt or nut down pass the engine.😃
I had to turn down bell ringing for another year but this time it was to play it safe... It's too close of a timeline to be 80% ready... Small things I still have to work on: mobility and strength... The former is to get me from walking like Frankenstein's monster and the latter just needs clearance from my back surgeon... I'm having trouble picking my Razzie up and he's 10 lbs... He's all right when he decides to be a lap kitty or when he nuzzles into my shoulder...but picking my silly cat up is difficult... I'll have a decent soak/massage of the feet come tomorrow as the massage tub for them arrived yesterday... Hope this takes care of the dead skin on the soles of the feet so I can go a bit faster walking around the apartment and second story balcony...
I had a problem with the distributor it went bad and the fuel pump kept running it pulled fuel from the rear tank and pumped it into the front tank and fuel got in the oil
Hey always enjoy your content good stuff! The engine has one if not more dead cylinders. Pull the plugs look at the gap might have a piece of carbon across the gap. Have had that happen a few times over the years when you have a tied Engine that consumes oil.It has compression so it burns the oil cleanly but can leave lots of ash. Good luck and god bless
That creepy demonic laugh at the beginning of video just scarred the crap out of me while I was in the other room heard it and almost had a heart attack lol
Maybe it sounds different in person but in the video it sure sounds like you have one dead cylinder. Considering all the fuel and oil that was making it's way to the cylinders, you might want to swap out those injectors after all.
great job, I think it's going to take a long time for the excess gas and oil to burn out of the converter and exhaust. Be a little patient, as you usually are.
The torque converters on these trucks are kinda crappy I’ve had troubles with mine and and couple of my buddies with the same trucks have had problems with theirs they change the trans and the problem was still there till they ordered a torque converter maybe the insight will help hope it will anyway love these trucks so this video made me love the channel even more then I already did
Hi pastor and family, California high desert preacher here, I am asking for prayer for my health, and my ministry. My health issues are knocking me back to where I can't much done. Please pray that our Lord will see fit to heal me in Jesus name, Amen
SO Im in atlanta ga and i have an 95' f150 XL and im trying to figure out whats wrong with it... it can't get and reading with the OBD scanner i have and i really want to enjoy my truck it's a manual and it's been sitting since august someone PLEASE HELP me i love this truck i just want to get it back running HELP!!!!!!!
i know i need a new starter but before it went out the felt like I was loosing power in when i pressed the gas and it kept shutting off i know it needs new battery mounts but im not a mechanic I know i can replace things but i need to know exactly whats going on w/ it so i can start fixing it again HELP!!!!! im in the atlanta area...
I’m dealing with a crazy fuel gauge on my 74 f100. It’s buries on full soon as I turn the key on. I can hook it to trailer and squat the truck a little bit and it works perfectly. Brand new sending unit from Napa. It doesn’t make sense to me what squatting the truck a little is doing. I’m tempted to throw a few hundred pounds in the back and forget about it. Lol
change the fluid and filter cause the filter will harden over time and not let the fluid flow through and it will hesitate to shift and make the tranny feel like it is slipping
God bless you guys! I have a 92 F150 swb with a 302 that has a quarter million miles on her! I love old Fords just like you guys do! Love this channel!
I liked this I used to have a 1992 blue F150. and it had the big rear view mirrors.
Glad to see y'all together again Rev.... Looks like Batman and Robin aren't the only Dynamic Duo around here...We got "Rev. and The Ole Man"...
Even though I'm not a big Ford guy besides the mustang, I just purely enjoy your videos. Watching you and your family working on cars and telling dad jokes makes my day great! God bless and keep up the amazing work!

Hey buddy good to see y'all again have a great week end good luck with the cars an trucks see you soon buddy tell your dad hellow bless you all great videos
I believe the paint will rub out very nicely. Very cool truck! Great work, you two!!
Great to see you guys working on old vehicles. I love the style of that old Ford pick up. Sounds like it has a dead miss in the engine, it's not smooth running. The catalytic convertor might be messed up also. God bless and great work on the old iron!
Good to see your daddy back ! My son and I love watching you two its like looking at ourselves lol.

Great suggestion. I was thinking the same thing.
I have a 95 F250 Super Cap XLT with the 5.7 engine. I use it now as my farm truck, but it has 210,000 miles and is still running pretty well. AC even works but it has a slow freon leak.
Good to see you back Ole Man. Time for a transmission inspection…
I am so happy to see you two again. Nice truck
Pretty smart the way y’all have that set up where u can look in underneath the cars lol. Beats buying an expensive car lift.
A lift would have been cheaper but the Ole Man couldn't build a lift...
To remove the carbon buildup from the plenum I’d run it and spray throttle body cleaner to remove the buildup then give it a tuneup and see if it stops skipping. On the transmission I would try changing fluid and filter. Good to seeing the ole man back God Bless Y’all.

Top rate video from Rev. Lots of fixing, a nice old Ford waking up, they just need to sort out the motor a bit, maybe the transmission.
Fingers crossed! We will get it going correctly.
Good to see you guys Rev. Hope everyone is well. Another great video. Let me know if the Ole Man is going to sell that F150. God Bless and always looking for to seeing you.
Great video glad you posters keep them coming thanks
More to come!
Glad to see you and the Ole man back together. My grandpa had a red 95 F350 that faded to pink just like that.
Excellent job once more. I'm also looking forward to seeing the pinto fully restored to be your daily driver.
You should change the solenoid pack in the transmission before a rebuild. They are prone to go out and I have replaced one myself on a 91
So do look forward to your video's God Bless you and your family my friend 💟💟💟💟💟😁
I’m glad the old man is back the video are fun and exciting big fan of the channel thanks
Glad you enjoy it!
Hello Rev and the ole man
Yes, a cut and polish will fetch that truck up like new, great to see your dad back, God bless.
HAPPY Sunday REV and family
Great to see you back 👍
Good job men and keep up the good work can't wait for the next video love it

Tnks to this video I fixed my 1993 f150 4.9 tnks God bless you
Keep up the good work
Thanks Man
Glad to see another video from you and your Dad
Some rubbing compound and good buffing would look nice
Shine would be fairly easy on this one.
My first truck was a white '92 F-150. Lots of good memories with that truck!
That is the next thing that we are going to do is clean the sensors... it is going to be needed.
The Truck is going.Glad you figured it out. So, if you put in a bottle of transmission rebuild. That might fix your slippage problem. Thanks Rev. For another great video with a ford. Thank you for sharing!
Hey 👋🏼 Rev God bless you. Have you thought 💭 of the shift sensor? These sensors get clogged up when you leave a car plenty of time without running.
Good lord it's and old Ford. Do you guys ever sell anyone your projects?
Good Seeing You & Your Father Back At It David, You & Your Father Are Close, Like My Late Father And I Was , I Admire That Good Sir.. It Seems Like It’ll Be A Nice Rig, Once You Gentlemen Get That EFI Injection All Sorted Out..

That's an idea too lol
I had a long bed 91 F150. After a few repairs, it was a good dependable vehicle. I wish I still had it.
Prayerful that we will continue until this one is a good one.
Did you check the transmission fluid. But I would not change it never had luck with transmission flush.
Fluid was full and did not smell bad... Hopefully it can be resolved.
No, like I tell everyone who says Found On Road Dead, it means First On Race Day.
Glad to see the ole man, he makes it fun.
hey Rev enjoy the vids. if not the injectors probably the fuel pressure regulator. that'll do it to, pump gas directly to the intake.
Congratulations!! Great find!! God Bless
Wow. I live in Gainesville Georgia so it was probably close to me.
The Ole Man made the trip up a few time before he purchase... Good part of the state.
Hey rev check the ground on the sending unit on tradition and ole red sounds like a bad ground love the content God bless
My friend had a truck like that and I think it was about the last year that they put vent windows on them. another good truck back on the road!
What do you do with the trucks once you get them up and running? I would love to get my own ford 90’s truck the next year or two.
I had to turn down bell ringing for another year but this time it was to play it safe... It's too close of a timeline to be 80% ready... Small things I still have to work on: mobility and strength... Are y'all going to do something with that Plymouth next to your dad red 92 Ford, will it be for sale
Check if there is a sensor on top of the rear end housing. That could be the problem.
That 92 is gonna be a nice ole truck for your dad. I think the paint will shine again!
I had a problem with the distributor it went bad and the fuel pump kept running it pulled fuel from the rear tank and pumped it into the front tank and fuel got in the oil
That ain't a bad ol truck, put you some anti slip in and let her eat. God Bless y'all, Thank You and stay safe!
Watching here in Australia Rev,sounds like she's got a couple of cylinders not doing too much.
I agree with some of the other comments sounds like you got a dead cylinder pull wires till you find which one don't change.
I use to use mop n glow on oxidized cars and make it look new if ya dont have anything else for it
I had a truck just like that it was doing the same thing number 8 cylinder did not have no compression
That Red from the early 90's on Ford loved to turn pink and fade
Hello big Daddy and Rev and family
I have always used fram filters and never had a problem.
Hello ol man nice to see you I always wach your channel Rev this u know Lee

Put some Lucas in the transmission and prepare to replace the fuel pump and possibly the tank if it's steel. Will be a great truck for years to come
That creepy demonic laugh at the beginning of video just scarred the crap out of me while I was in the other room heard it and almost had a heart attack lol

This truck for sale?
When I replace one of my fuel injectors on my Ford pickup I bought the original Motorcraft one and it was $92 just for one ejector
PVC valve is probably bad. Then the crank case venting into the intake filter
great job, I think it's going to take a long time for the excess gas and oil to burn out of the converter and exhaust. Be a little patient, as you usually are.

Change fluid and fiter and see if any metal is in bottom of pan
Get some neodymium magnets and glue them into the sockets so then your bolts won't so easily fall out.
that was the worst air filter i have ever seen!
Awesome!!!! !!!! 😎
I had a 92 f150 inline 6 and a manual transmission 🤩
It's running good not to bad body underneath good and box
My son's truck did the same it was the fuel regulator too
Not enough fuel pressure from that little pump

Ha ha, that'll be Rotella 15w40 diesel oil w/ zinc and other dinosaur vitamins. It's also vice grip garages favorite flavor of choice 🙃🙃
