We are building a a house and are thinking about going with the Bosch 800 Series combination wall oven. Do you have any insight on these products? Thank you!
Congratulations on the construction of your home! Bosch makes a solid wall oven with essential features that you'd rely on in your daily kitchen duties. The 800 Series or Benchmark would be a great choice. If you wanted to elevate your kitchen even further, Thermador and Gaggenau are apart of the Bosch corporation via BSH as well. We'd love to go into further details if you are available for a showroom or virtual appointment!

Thank you for your comment! Great question! What makes the speed element in both models you mention here similar is their use of multiple cooking elements. Both have the technology of the microwave with the use of it's electromagnetic energy, broiling element, and convection to move the air evenly. You'll be able to effectively cook with similar results in both. I looked through the specs to possibly uncover anything else but the only difference would be the power, the speed oven gets the edge in wattage. I would suggest the speed oven. Almost no one repairs microwaves anymore and you would have to replace it all together. With a speed oven, it uses similar parts to that of a conventional oven making serviceability better. Also, speed ovens today have more preloaded recipes and shortcuts to help you cook your favorite dishes, smart features to keep you connected to the cooking process, and more aesthetic options to blend into the kitchen style you're going for.
I need one in my small travel trailer. No oven, microwave and 2 burner Propane!

So what is the difference between a speed oven and a microwave with speed-cook? Very specifically JennAir JMC6224HM vs JMC2427LM. Thanks.
