I usually hate lots of screens but this is such an immersive experience, IT WORKS. You really do feel the size of a rat.

All these haters probably have never ridden this attraction. This is one of the best Disney rides created honestly. It is much better in person, you can smell the kitchen and feel the heat and sprays on the ride. While it may not seem like it, the cars actually move and vibrate during the ride. Simply underrated!

Pretty cool looking ride. I like how in some parts the cars go on a different path. Can't wait to see it in Epcot down the road.
The design surrounding the queue is quite beautiful, like strolling over the rooftops of Paris at night, with the occasional pop-up appearance by Remy or Gusteau. Nice little touch - once the ride is done, as you step aside you enter Bistrot Chez Rémy - a real functioning restaurant (so if the smells from the ride have sparked your appetite, you're sorted.) It's an incredibly immersive experience from start to finish. Also kinda reminiscent of the old Honey I Shrunk the Audience ride, the 3D really pops and the fluidity of the ride is seamless.

Personally, I think it looks as if he is pointing and then waving at the character in front of his daughter. It's a typical parental move when showing a child something seemingly amazing, especially when attempting to convince the child that it is real. You'll see it a lot when kids are meeting fictional characters in the Disney parks.

I feel they should mention it’s 3D and requires you to wear glasses to ride it...the ride without that aspect would seem boring otherwise.
I don’t know how people aren’t noticing it’s very obviously blurry.... bc we don’t have 3D glasses on.
We waited about 2 hours for this and let me tell you, it WAS WORTH IT!

This was my Dad's favorite ride when we went to Disneyland Paris!!! He's so excited that Disney is building the ride in our home park Walt Disney World!!

Antarctica: empire of the penguin ride at Seaworld, in Orlando is EXACTLY the same as this ride. The only difference? Penguins instead of rats. Same sensory stimulations, same movements, almost identical. It was an awesome ride.

My and my family rode this ride no joke 6 times in one day at this park when your actually riding it it’s SO GOOD

We rode 2 times one with normal line (which was 60min) and another with fastpass
kittymusicgirl we have a special pass (for anyone with a illness considered a disability one of my family members has diabetes) x so we waited in fast pass line each time

As someone who has gone on this ride multiple times, this ride is so much more amazing in person. It’s seriously one of a kind and so so cool ( like when your under the oven it gets really hot and in the freezer they made it really cold) it’s one of the best and most immpress rides I’ve gone on!

Such an amazing ride - just a tip, if you don’t want extreme waiting times go in single rides. It almost always has a 15 minute waiting time or less.

My fave because its a really fun and beautiful ride but also because the single riders lane is always 5 minutes while the regular one is usually 50 something lmao. Can't beat that👏

I love the film so knew I would love the ride. It has charm, excitement and every time you go on it you notice more detail. The perfect end to this ride is then to go into the restaurant Chez Remy for a delicious meal which includes of course Ratatouille

One of my favourite rides at DLP. The smells, music, heat etc. are totally amazing. I want on this 11 times - one straight after the other (using single rider queue). Plus the adjoining restaurant is amazing - you think the ride looks awesome?, Wait until you see the restaurant decor !!!!❤️🐀

If you like this, you MUST visit Symbolica in De Efteling (once the park opens again since it's now closed due to corona) it is also a trackless ride but with less screens and BEAUTIFUL environment. It's got the nickname "The Palace of Fantasy"...

My biggest hope for the ride in EPCOT is that they still have the single rider line, because I was able to ride this a lot when I was in Paris due to that.
This reminds me of the ride at I AM HOLLAND in Amsterdam it was amazing and so different to a rollercoaster but really made you feel like you were flying it’s awesome 😂👌

My own personal criticism about this ride is that with the glasses on you can’t appreciate the details of the set as much. It’s just my personal opinion though so please don’t come at me, because it really is a beautifully made attraction. My advise would be to ride the first time with the glasses on and watching the screens and another time where you allow yourself to take them off every now and then to look around. But this could also be because I have horrendous eyesight 😂

This feels like one of those rides where a video sadly cannot do it justice.
So mad, I was just there august 1st and I had fast passes and everything to ratatouille and the power went out. So I never got to ride it because they never got it open again in time.

Oof. Not a single animatronic. Just a ride vehicle transporting you from screen to screen with half-assed static props in between.
Of course, the all experience is in 4D with smells features ^^
Although not an excellent ride, it’s really good. Animatronics wouldn’t really work here

This isn't like a Peter Pan dark ride, animatronics would ruin the whole 3D experience. It's easily the best ride in the Walt Disney studios. There is much more than a " vehicle transporting you from screen to screen". You can't really see anything other than the screens (it's much better in person than in the video). You can smell real food ( ratatouille) , you can feel the heat when you are under the oven, you are getting wet and you are pushed back when they open the champagne, you feel like you are falling down in a few parts (in the beginning and when you are in the kitchen), you are feeling like you are being chase when you run with the rats etc. Much more than what a few animatronic could offer. The queue alone is stunning. Once you experience it you will change your mind.

This ride is actually one of the most immersive rides I have ever been on, like my heart legitimately started racing when we were being “chased” because it does make you feel like the size of a rat.

I never got sick in attractions, but this one almost made me puke my guts out after just 1 minute. Cool attraction, but NEVER again. :’)
The problem is when you're stationary in front of the screens, the camera is moving about quite a lot. This causes a discrepancy between what you're seeing and what you feel and that can trigger motion sickness.
