Yeah, as its about the polish resistance that fought the Germans in the captured polish cities, Huge respect to those who were in the resistance those who fought, died, and survived.
I'm proud to be Polish. A country with a painful history. You can see in the attached video that we are grateful and proud. Cześć i chwała bohaterom ❤️
We will be travelling to Warsaw next summer-- I can't wait to visit my Grandmother's homeland! She used to buy us black market toys and things from her friends in Poland in the late 1970's early 1980's! I still have them in my possession!
A Sabaton fan from India... You have chosen the right live song... Next should be En Livstid I Krig - Live please❤️ You will love that for sure... But with captions ON
Sabaton immortalizes the history that some would rather we forget. Never forget. Claim your heritage and make your ancestors proud. Great reaction, Dave. You get it.
It is a record from the event - Pol'and'Rock Festival (formerly Przystanek Woodstock). It is a music festival organized by the Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy Foundation (Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity ) . There are bands from all over the world. 700-800 thousand people may attend the festival. In addition to music, a constant element of the event are conversations with prominent personalities from the world of culture, media, art, politics and social life, which take place at the Academy of Fine Arts. The music played at the festival is - rock, punk rock, reggae, folk, heavy metal, electronics, blues, blues rock, hip-hop and many more. Many Polish musicians and bands have made several appearances, including IRA, Decapitated, Myslovitz, Maria Peszek, Kamil Bednarek, Dżem, Acid Drinkers, Lessdress, Hey and Riverside. International bands are also invited every year - Skunk Anansie, Sabaton, Judas Priest, Within Temptation, Shaggy, The Stranglers, Papa Roach, The Prodigy, Kaiser Chiefs, Ugly Kid Joe, You Me at Six, Guano Apes, Kontrust, Clawfinger, Nigel Kennedy, Gentleman, Korpiklaani among many others.
So happy that you enjoyed it!!! There is about 500-750.000 ppl in the crowd. Other epic live is; Swedish pagans live Woodstock En livstid I krig live Gothenburg (caps on)
The concert took place at the final day of The mighty Woodstock festival ,Poland In 2012. In between two of their tracks , the singer "Joakim", says its unbelievable that there are actually more people here than people living in the whole of Gothenbourg! (Swedens 2nd biggest city) ....And when you know that in Gothenbourg lives roughly 600 000 people.....it means probably more than that !!! (The numbers later confirmed by Woodstock Festival themselves) ...You can still (if the video isnt taken down by now) see the whole concert and even Sabatons preparations going in to the concert in another video here on YT.
To Polish people.. National Pride, History and honour to all of those people that died for a freedom is the deepest religion...what ever You see ...there ...is not only a fun is the voice of the pride and honour to polish people/heroes that were fighting for our Freedom...it's something important to understand
Dave! 40-1 live at the same concert….Chills. 40-1 is about Poland holding off the Germans and this concert was in Poland so it was personal and it gets NUTS!
@@matthewmac5787 That's gonna be a huge legal problem for them then. They don't have anything to do with the concert. Only the Polish version of the Swedish Empire Tour dvd. They have no legal right to claim the copyright of the English version.
Whenever you go to a Sabaton concert, prepare to lose your voice for days after... That happened to me... (My husband didn't mind. Sitting in the car for a 6 hour drive home... 😄) Great reaction, btw!
Your reactions make me so happy everytime. Great reaction really enjoyed it. You should watch some more performances from this specific concert, it was pretty awesome.
you might want to watch 40:1 live its the same concert and crowd. and en livstid i krig from götenborg live. remember subtitles since its in swedish. but that crowd is fired up
I recommend reacting to The Price of a Mile in which the battle of passendale is themed with more then 500k dead soldiers and there is a live performance of the Song at Woodstock 2012 where around 550k people were chanting
"En livstid i krig-live" is the best one ever. Live here in sweden, song is about the swedish soldier during the swedish empire. The song is in swedish but use Eng lyrics 😁👌
I've been there 😁 Woodstock (now Pol'and'Rock) is the most awesome event in the entire world. I've been at many concerts or festivals, but nothing can be compared to Woodstock! The music, the people, the atmosphere... it's amazing every year! I've been there 8 times already 😁 there is saying that just once you come there - next year you just come back home 😁
Yesss! Isn't this video outstanding? Here, too, I get goose bumps every time. If at any time you should have the opportunity to see Sabaton live - take advantage of it!
Please please please check out Lion from the North and Attack of the Dead Men next. Lion from the North is about Gustavus Adolphus. A Swedish Leader who was a master military tactician whom people refer to as the Napoleon of Sweden. Although it should be the other way around, since he came before Napoleon. Attack of the Dead Men is about the battle of Osowiec Fortress in 1915 and it is my favorite war story of all time. The German army was having a hard time clearing out the Russian defenders, so they used chlorine gas on the fortress thinking that it will kill all of the defenders. Some of the defenders survived, but they looked like zombies due to the chemical burns caused by the gas. Even though the Germans greatly outnumbered the surviving defenders, because they thought that they were fighting men that could not die, the German army retreated and abandoned the attack on the fortress.
Awesome thing is also they sang this song about the Warzaw uprising against nazi germany, in poland for polish people. So there is no wonder why the people would get so excited and crazy hearing this song XD You should react to 40:1 live at woodstock, can imagine how wild the polish crowd gets hearing that song :)
I only been to Sabaton cruise 4 times over Baltic sea, 2500 fans and Sabaton for 24h on cruise boat. They had them for 10year untill "China virus" emearged 🤟. This show you watched was 750.000 in Poland
Hey Dave. Loving the sabaton ride right along with you. In the spirit of the upcoming holiday i would ask you to do a review/reaction to a song for me. The band is Helloween and the song is called Halloween. I recommend the lyric Video. The official video is cut and shortened and missing alot from the original. If you like guitarlos.. you'll love this song!
The crowd giving enourmous energy because it's about Polish history. About our grandparents! We regained inedepdence in 1918 (Germany, Russia and Austria took our lands in 1795) after 123 years without Poland. 20 years passed and we had to fight against german nazis for independence again. WWII starting when nazis attacked a Westerplate in September 1939. Warsaw uprising (1944) was a largest uprising in a history but we lose. After that uprising soviet's beat a nazis and controlled our country till 1989 because West sold us for it's own freedom . When I was young I talked to my grandfather who fought against the soviets. That was crazy! But finally we won! We have our Poland and our capital Warsaw which it's beautiful. And that's why we're fucking proud and crazy! POLAND!!! ⚪🔴⚪🔴⚪🔴
I might be mistaken, but I heard somewhere that shortly after this song the whole crowd sang the Polish National anthem, I’m going to go try and double check though
Hey I would love to see what you think about a piano arrangement that came out recently of The Sentinel by Judas Priest❤️ I was intrigued by it and now can’t stop playing it! I feel like that would be an arrangement you would really like 😊
Don’t wanna sound like a jackass, but he doesn’t start the third chorus when in Poland until the crowd shouts Warsaw ..then he starts Warsaw city at war. It’s something unique for Poland I think. All the live videos in Poland do that.
You should listen to: Talvisota Rorke's Drift The Lost Battalion Hill 3234 Last Dying Breath Union Those are all also great Sabaton song and you should listen to them
The next live one should be En Livstid I Krig but I still think you should hold off on that till later. In my opinion it's one of their best. Angels Calling, with apocalyptica or Gallipoli would be a good one to react to next
The largest concert I've been to was a Metallica concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Max capacity for a concert there is 20,000, and I'm sure it was pretty close to that number... so probably 18k? It was a damn huge concert. LOL 🤘😁
A big part of the crowd's energy is that this concert was in Poland, so that song was really special to them.
Yeah, as its about the polish resistance that fought the Germans in the captured polish cities, Huge respect to those who were in the resistance those who fought, died, and survived.
