I notice that there isn't a port/door in the front engine skid for the oil filter. It's probably an obvious question, but are you having to remove that whole front plate when changing out the engine oil finger every time?
I just picked up an Xterra and I'm thinking about grabbing a set of Asfir skids. I've had a Frontier with HeftyFab skids for a while. How well is this covering/protecting the radiator? It looks like you can still hit it pretty well from a more frontal angle. Thank you for the videos on here and your Instagram Page.
It protects the bottom of the radiator and has a slight upward angle at the front end to deflect debris downward. The bracket they provide has tabs that connect to your stock bumper to make sure it looks nice. We have had great luck with them over the last few years.

No, you can access the filter for the passenger side wheel well. Then I place a rag to catch the oil run off when you remove the filter
I was just wondering the same thing, thanks for the help. 👍
@@MoLeisureXventures hi I don't understand can you explain in more detail how to access the filter?
Does the engine skid plate have a access hole for the drain plug? Hard to tell. It looks like it has a hole in that general area?
Yes it does.
