Pakistan is far from the purpose it had been created for. And I do not foresee things getting better in the near future. In the retrospect, the making of Pakistan, in fact, didn't help the Muslims on either side of the border. Punjab, KPK< Bengal, Sindh, and British Baluchistan were already Muslim majority states ruled by Muslim CMs. Muslims of the Subcontinent should go back and rereview the history to get some valuable lessons for the future.
If that is the case, why did Jinnah not become PM of Pakistan, once he was successful in creating Pakistan? Reason: Jinnah knew he is very sick and going to die soon. He was not interested in become a PM of any country, he was genuinely dedicated to his cause. One can disagree with his ideas or cause, but you cannot say he did that just to get a political post. Jinnah's sickness was one of the best kept secrets of 20th century, thanks to his personal Doctor (Dr. Jal Ratanji Patel). Exposing this secret could have changed history of Subcontinent. Yeah powerful people at that time have same thoughts but he was dedicated to a cause. He was a very loyal to cause person. He distributed his inheritance to educational institutions in Pakistan 🇵🇰 and India 🇮🇳 without any favourism. Jinnah and Gandhi have no hate for Pakistan or India. Both of them wished well for people of this region. The hate was magnified by next generations of politicians for their own gains.
In fact Jinnah was loyal to his cause but there is no evidence that he gave away his inheritance for some cause. He had no direct property in Pakistan. Just one banglow in Delhi and other in Bombay, his favourite city where he wanted to spend his summers post partition. I do not doubt his good intentions, but he Demise didn't give him chance to do something for the cause you mentioned.
@@shoaibazizmeer with appologies dear sir but I have been the direct recipient of Mohammad Ali jinnahs divided inheritance being a student of islamia college Peshawar. to which he has give 1/3rd of his belongings/ property as per his will. so do some research kindly before posting on a public platform!

I think both Indians and Pakistanis can agree on the fact that we have been played by the power struggle between Nehru and Jinnah. The reality is far from what was promised back then. Pakistan ended up predominantly becoming a Military state with the selling point being anti-India propaganda and India ended up being run by a family which looted it. Extremists were given a free hand in Pakistan and now it has come to bite the hand it fed. The muslim appeasement politics of post-independence INC was nothing but vote-bank politics because in ground reality, a common Indian muslim has remained the same.
If we see the larger picture, it was only a group of people (political families / army generals ) who have benefitted from the partition. Agreed that there would have been occasional Hindu-Muslim clashes, but undivided India would have been much more peaceful and progressive. The British wanted to divide India to make it weak and they have become successful in it.
Thankfully, we in India have got Shri Narendra Modi, who has been a breath of fresh air and has been working towards the development of the Nation. Hopefully Pakistan too comes out of its mess (caused by politicians and army) and proceed to progress in its own way.
