Paul Bruce Dickinson is an English singer, best known as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Iron Maiden. Dickinson has performed in the band across two stints, from 1981 to 1993 and from 1999 to the present day. He is known for his wide-ranging operatic vocal style and energetic stage presence.

I agree with what you said. I think this is among the best of Bruce's solo work, and his solo work is my favorite!
Loving the whole album, including this one! I'm 52 and took my youngest daughter (18) to her first Maiden concert in 2022. I'd love to see Bruce's solo tour this year but he's only doing one show (next Month) in California which is sold out already.. then he's headed back overseas. The back and forth you guys have here reminds me of myself and my daughter. Bravo and happy belated birthday, young man!

as i JUST commented on a rection to iron maiden's the longest day:
"this is probably the best song post brave new world and it still sucks (except for the start). new maiden goes staight from verse to chorus, no bridge, feels like a cut to a completely different song. here the verse is amazing, especially in the begining, it builds the song amazingly well. and then cut....
edit: compare rain on the graves to anything maiden released post BNW and it's worlds apart. imho harris has been holding maiden back for 20 years. even bruce's live show this year was way better than iron maiden live for god knows how long. i know he had issues with his vocal chords but still. the songwritting speaks for itself"
