Bob Steele with a great cast this time directed by the most prolific director in history, Sam Newfield.

Lol, after the wedding, when they mounted the horses all three came from a different direction, opposite the house where the rider had just entered.

they were the beginning of the great westerns. No fast cameras and equipment!! It all started somewhere.

It always amuses me that they filmed all of these Westerns north of Los Angeles on mountainous or forested terrain ill-suited for either farming or cattle ranching.

At 1:08 That guy says, "They'll think they got a bear by the tail before we get through with them." That would prove very hard to do considering how short a bear's tail is and how ferocious it will fight. I think he meant, "A tiger by the tail." lol

My first western hero watching him on sagebrush theater on Saturday tv shows. Then going out playing cowboys shooting and killing each other for hours. Good clean fun

Bear by the tail not to be taken literally.

Illiterate cowboys know nothing of tigers....They know about bears and if they ever heard a guy say "Tiger by the tail", they'd easily adapt that to say a "Bear by the tail" so everybody knows what we are talking about.

Little pink rubbers. Rubbers in the days when this movie was made was a term used for rubber boots. People used to wear them over their shoes to keep dry. Little girls might get pink ones to wear.
