Cool. Sounds like a lot of the hits may be found in existing libraries? Certainly sounds very very similar some of the ones in Action!, Claustrophobic and Electronic Edge.
love the GUI
An awesome addition to my library!
not gonna lie the ui are lit!!
It’s a bit annoying ez drummer 3 has some features superior drummer 3 should also have.
and still no upgrade vom SD2 to SD3 ... OR AT LEAST ... a downgrade from SD2 to EZD3 😞
Sup drum 4 coming?
Which features?
@@machineagevoodoo2106 like auditioning the kit pieces in the mixer window as shown in this video. The band mate features and the grid based click to find
and the humanise feature@@Harrysound
Some of these sounds would be insane incorporating into acoustic drums if you are using triggers
buying this today!
So can you basically play this EZX using your E-kit? This would be really Cool!
Absolutely! Learn more about using EZdrummer 3 with e-drums in this video:

@@toontrack Thanks so much!
That's pretty cool.
I will be getting this!
It's fine (there are better ones in this style) but to be honest, I was expecting a "normal" metal EZX especially since the Area 33 Origin wasn't a brand new concept. 🤔
what do you need since death & darkness
@@pika_speed D&D is excellent but you can create thousands of "metal-type" drum kits, Toontrack is a big name, it's not hard to imagine that they continue to cooperate with well-known drummers and/or studios where emblematic metal records were born. For example I loved the Bob Rock SDX (great for rock and metal), I wish there were more like it. There is no problem with this EZX or Area 33 Origin but I think the majority expected something else.
@@80s_kid yea ofc I just meant personally speaking, the needs, given d&d has so much depth
This is quite cool, very different!
Now this is dope
❤
Why is this a Metal Month release? There hasn't been a single "regular" Metal EZX since Duality two years ago.
can be used for industrial metal :)
Also I'm not sure what new stuff they can innovate with with another metal EZX, unless it's a signature kit of a famous drummer like how they did wayyyyy back then with Thomas Haake
@@Mr.Goldbar You can even use Cowbells in a Metal song. But would that make a Cowbell EZX "Metal"?
Industrial metal, hoss. Huge effing subgenere. Started in the '80s. Catch up.
@@DapperHesher Yeah, that's why their demo video track doesn't even feature a single electric guitar. So Metal! I don't need to catch up, this release is just really inappropriate for "Metal Month".
@@svenjeschke5025 It's a percussion plugin. We all know how musical instruments work. You're arguing for the sake of arguing: Cut back on the caffeine, be less 'internet comment section' and be more normal, hoss. Breathe in, breathe out... 😌
:)
It's a beautiful design. However, it is dark and visibility is poor. I have difficulty distinguishing between the pads I can hit and the background.
YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
To be honest, these sounds are dated. Heavyocity did this stuff better 10 years ago. Was expecting an actual metal EZX release during metal month…
This 100%. And their own metal EZX libraries are dated, too. How many years ago were "Metal!" and "Metal Machine" released? They need to let go of this post/dark/experimental crap and deliver a good allround Metal EZX again.
When I saw the pictures and the name, I thought OK, a normal metal EZX would be better but let's listen to see if it's going to be some nice aggressive Fear Factory-like stuff... unfortunately it's not. Yes, Heavyocity is better for this purpose.
Which heaviocity should I be looking at?
@@thomasrobertson4213 Among the old Heavyocity stuff: DM307 (it has industrial kit), Evolve, Evolve Mutations 1-2, Damage. Among the newer ones: Symphonic Destruction, Damage 2 is also worth checking out and Gravity also has good presets.
