Great video Dom! You asked about Scoring Percussion, and I bought it immediately for Groove Agent when I saw it was available. It sounds great, and a tremendous value for the price. I also highly recommend Metronomic Cinema, also for Groove Agent. It has phenomenal drums - also wonderfully underpriced for the volume and quality of drum sounds.
Dude that was killer! I bought Soundiron Apocalypse Elements a few days ago and the sounds are massive. I did hear a few I liked from your review and hopefully they are not insanely expensive.
Yeah to a mixing orchestral percussion tutorial !!! Also, I have years of doing regular drums done already but what and how to play orchestral percussion sounds so it sounds like orchestral percussion and not amateur hour percussion mess on an expensive library! :D What do you think about Toontrack Superior Orchestral Percussion SDX ... if you've used it of course hehe!
Hello my friend, can I ask you for help? Where could I find a good soft boom? to use it in trailer music, like the dark night... please, I would love to know your advice. thank you so much.
What sample rate do you prefer/recommend for orchestral composing in cubase? Is 44 is enough (set it and forget as some guys recommend) or do is better to go 48-96+) Thanks! (Your channel is the best btw! :)
Dom, I didn't play midi. Groove Agent allows me to piece together intros, mains, fills , and outros. Do any of these libraries in this video have similar modes of production as groove agent? Since i don't play live.
@@DomSigalas Mhh, strange, I mentioned the "Fracture Sounds Box Factory". Seems to be deleted. It's an amazing library recorded from card boxes...check it out.
Every sound is a Japanese Taiko like. Percussion VST should have other instruments, which few people produce. They should call these Taiko like libraries as Dum Dum percussion libraries. Too many of these flooded in market. Looks like these sound libraries are easier to make. Hope the market will improve soon. Regards.
DOM you are always smiling. It is one of the reasons I love your channel. Love the percussion video!
❤️❤️❤️
Thank you very much for featuring Apocalypse Percussion Ensemble in your list!
My pleasure guys! It's a killer library!
Amazing video! The Tom Holkenborg Library sounds crazy, watched his process of creating it a while ago...
A big yes please on mixing orchestral percussion!
As always thanks for your review!
Thanks Dom! Appreciate the work going into all this. I'd very much like to see how you approach a mix when it comes to orchestral percussion.

I came looking for tools to use percussion for instrumentals and got a concert 😔✊️ as a trained percussionist, this was a blessing on the ears.

I have Scoring Percussion and still often forget about it.
I've noticed with cineperc there's alot of background noise going on when you play the instruments
I like the sound of damage 2, not as dark as the others, cut thru the mix better, at least that's how it sounds on my tv right now lol
More on mixing please!
Thanks Dom. Just gotta develop some skills like yours now. Easy eh!?
Here a question: Do you prefer Damage 1 or 2 from Heavyocity?
The brushed hits in Stormdrum 2 you've mentioined... Are they also in Stormdrum 3 ?
Whats that new monitor on the table? 😮
Amazingggggggggggggggggggggggg
Is it plugins or what? Will it work with kontakt?

What is this keyboard?)
My Brother, It is Midi Keyboard..connected to a computer..Played Through VST Software....I hope this helps...
Toontrack Orchestral Percussion
Как самозабвенно стучит 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂молодец !!!!!!
What is ur most favorite percussion library????
Dom, I didn't play midi. Groove Agent allows me to piece together intros, mains, fills , and outros. Do any of these libraries in this video have similar modes of production as groove agent? Since i don't play live.
How to keep cinematic percussion present without pushing aside the other instruments.
so comments sharing the own most used libraries are being deleted? Disappointing
I didn’t delete any comment - what are your favourites?
