That would make sense if there was a website where you could buy a multi velocity RR metal sheet sound, a tin can, a clank, a boom and a rattle one sound at a time for Kontakt for less than a dollar each. But that's not a thing.
what if I am not after percussive sounds, rather than the more angle grinder type sounds that Front 242 used in the 1980s to create melodies? Do I have to synthesize them myself or are there modern VSTs or synthesizers which will do them? Should I go with FM synthesis? Trying to steer clear of the "rave" type sounds which leave me empty.
You might want to check out Sampleso's Floppytron library. Other than that you can take recordings of various machines (washing machine, blender, vacuum cleaner, drill) and then put those samples into Kontakt one at a time, tune them to the nearest note and spread them across the keyboard range. It's best to stick to actual recordings of mechanical sounds rather than using synths because synths sound too perfect or "clean", even with distortion.

(It might not be as „industrial“ as the other libraries you showcased here, but on the surface, there still seem to be some similarities. And since you did a demo song for it, I’m sure you have an informed opinion about it.) Oh, and one small suggestion: When you play your song at the end of the video, it would’ve been nice to see the tracks in your DAW, to get a rough idea which part of the song uses which of the libraries discussed before (as opposed to the Kontakt GUI in the foreground, which at this time doesn’t tell the viewer much.)
Motor Rhythms is cool, but I find there's only so much I can do with it due to its specific and recognisable sound. Better for more quirky stuff really. I'll definitely have to keep in mind to show what tracks are doing what next time for sure.
A fossil from Old School is here, and I came to say that percussion is one of the weakest parts of my attempts into creativity. I haven't checked your channel yet, but could you make a video explaining how to write percussions like that? I got a ton of Vengeance at my disposal thinking all I needed was more sound on professional level but I ended up stuck with not understanding how to make these realistic "waves" of sounds. I mean, some of yours aren't even aligned to the tempo, and yet it doesn't feel like something you'd want to burn your ears to avoid. Is there any logic behind that, or did you just experiment blindly until something worked? (also, I'm not an Old School fan but knowing the depressive truth about it helps me to keep in mind it's all going nowhere. That's what I said I was a fossil. I just don't see any place for experiments anymore. Electronic music is one of the most popular things in every radio, just what kind of test can you possibly do now? Post Industrial is just an Industrial-themed music, but maybe there is hope? Do you know how to experiment with sound without a lab designed to change the physical nature of a soundwave itself?)

I'm planning a video called "To Be an Industrial Composer" where I cover the ins and outs of industrial music and found sound, with some examples of how industrial music has evolved over the years.
As far as synths and ambiances go Omnisphere is hands down the best thing to have. Evolve from Heavyocity also has some of my favourite hybrid industrial content. Also, Haunted Spaces from Soniccouture is a top notch investment - I have a video on my channel that covers that library.
@@DH-fu7bx Cool, now all you need are the materials and to minimise the background noise. Then all you have to do is edit, mix and set the samples up in Kontakt. While you're doing that, I'll make a few industrial tracks with the libraries I have.

The problem with these, is you buy 4000 sounds and only 3 will fit you. Avoid these expensive libraries and buy the sound you want seperatly directly

Mainly more industrial game soundtrack composers like Akira Yamaoka. I'd love to hear more artists using pure industrial percussion though.

The only thing you need is an akai sampler and a recorder
And a local industrial area, some fences, gates, poles, sheet metal, dumpster, barrels... Also no background noise.

Are these compatible with FL Studio?
They all run in Kontakt, which is a vst plugin sampler that runs in pretty much every DAW.
To be honest most of these sounds are closer to what you can hear on tom waits record than nine inch nails lol
That's cause Reznor is more synth than industrial. Especially his later stuff, which ironically is more like his first album.
