She spoke to college-educated, gainfully employed, politically engaged Black women who faithfully vote and financially support their chosen candidates.
Unlike many other Greek orgs, Black orgs foster lifelong connection with their members. Most of the women to whom she spoke belong to graduate chapters, meaning that they are long past-often decades past their college days-but are still actively connected to the org and its mission.
