My name is Dave and I travel with my dog Bella in a 1987 Class A Motorhome. My channel is about full time RV Living in an older RV while keeping the wheels rolling on a budget. I do the repairs, updates and upgrades myself. I’ve become my own RV Mechanic/Medic! I seek boondocking opportunities every chance I can and power the RV with 500 watts of solar and approximately 500 amp hours of batteries. RV Resorts are just not our style!

Can't believe you're coming back North already. How time flies. Spring has come early up here but Winter is not fully done with us yet.
Bet that wasn't a cheap tow. Hope you had insurance. BBB - Bring back the beard. 😊
Hello Dave I am new to your channel and loving it . I saw the Cat head campground on this vlog and it reminded me of my childhood years lol . I 65 now lol but as a southern kid I would get to go to my grandparents and spend a couple weeks with them and my grandaddy would in the morning yell hey yall come get ya some cat heads lol . He was talking about biscuits at breakfast . I assumed he was going by the size of the biscuit about the size of a cat head . IDK but maybe thats where the campground got its name lol. Anyway I got a great memory today ! Wow haven't thought about that in many years . Thanks
I just rewatched, I couldn't remember is you guys had found a site near Savannah. Darn I was hoping lol
Those big ol units are notorious for eating the Chevy turbo hydromatics 475. My brother just rebuilt mine and we added an electric fan cooler Infront of the radiator to add additional transmission cooling.
Times fly's by when you sit behind a computer at the comforts of home & watch you travel with Bella! It' been that fast! The transmission on it's last clutch stream!
Geez, gas up here in Michigan is up to 3.45.
About a month ago it was 2.95. 🤷♂️
Hey there. Just did a drive thru Honey Hill and saw your caravan. Hope you're having a great time in my neck of the woods😂
Fun ride along
Hope you are coming to Myrtle Beach with Ausia and Jeff. We live here and would like to take you all out to eat. Just let us know if this is possible.
Nice video
Oh man, those were the days.
Captions not working...CC button is greyed out.
Oh! I remember that day!
You were lucky to find that transmission shop!
I’ve been kinda keeping an eye open for an old hand or foot pump like that one for awhile. If we ever lose power for any length of time we’ll be out of water too. We’re on a private well and I love that we have safe water, but I wish we could hand pump it at times.
It sucks that they didn’t update their info online about the closure. Happy safe travels on your way home🤞👍🏼🙋🏼♀️
We "got" to replace our transmission too, on our Class A. What a Treat. I have similar pictures of it getting towed. I'm glad that's in your Rear View now Dave. Safe travels this spring!!
Fun times! ...lol. Thanks!
I hope you told Ausia most of her truck brake lights were out?
Yes, I remember when Betty said I will go no more.
Bummer that FREE campground is closed. I agree it probably be free no more. Loved the suggestion to Annually powerwash the tables ❤😊
Hi Dave, we will be back!!! We just purchased a new to us class C! 25' height 10/10 its soooo cute. I can drive it. Yahoo. First trip I believe will be the end of May going to TN for my granddaughters H.S. graduation. Love TN.
Thats a bummer with that campground. Oh you just mentioned Georgia. I hope you got some Georgia peaches 🍑
Be safe! 😎😮
Wow, unexpected adventures make the best stories! We sent you an email, please take a look.
Premium is $4.70 in Graham,Wa.
2-4 inches of rain. Tornado hit Nahunta and several folks lost their homes. It rained by the bucket loads.
I remember that day with the Bounder!
I too like the old fashion water spigot.
What a bummer closed for renovation
Like the beard just like my husband 🙂
Ahh yes, the day the Bounder transmission decided it had it enough and needed some TLC. Just the sound of the engine surging when the Transmission was slipping was a terrible sound to hear in the video and I'm sure that your heart was in your throat knowing that a major rebuild was in the immediate future. Nothing worse than a surprise like that to dampen anyone's spirit, but you appeared to handle it as just 'one of those things' and got back to living life asap....ya did good Dave!
Too bad about the free campground being closed for renovations, and yes - it should have said something to that effect online, but it obviously wasn't a priority to whoever owns the property. Maybe it will be a good place to stay at next year if you should find yourself in the area again.
Hello to you and Bella both Dave - pretty soon it will just be the two of you continuing north again bound for beautiful Pennsylvania and your big workshop for tinkering with your projects which I always look forward to watching. Safe journey guys!
That place used to be an outlet mall.
My motorhome goes into overdrive on those rises for the last four years. Only in cruise mode. I turn it off and returns to normal.
You have had some bad luck with transmissions over the last few years!
Omg look so much younger without the beard. But that's why tow a car
I remember that. I live in Clay County south of Jacksonville. Safe travels to you and Bella!
👍
i remember that, but you glad to have a rebuild transmission now. that you don't got to worry about anything like that happening.
I enjoyed 'the ride'..Thanks
Have a safe trip back home . Love your videos.
Thank you! Will do!
Good attitude, great beard in flashback.
Hay Dave & Miss Bella,One of those days, yes it sucks not having a plan B,But honestly most of the time when we don't have a plan B,We always end up at a Walmart or Crackel Barrel, Thankfully these places offer a time to rethink,Be safe Dave, And safe travels...
safe travels Dave and Bella❤❤
Nothing like a good nap. 😁😁😎😎👍👍
👍👍👍
I lost the fuel pump in pa and it cost me 2500 to tow back to ma
The Bounder, I hope the new owner is enjoying it. Yep, got a good dose of rain near the travel rest area. 🙂👍
Welcome to Florida...
Our mountains are transmission killers.... lmao !😊
You can't really call anything a mountain in Florida though, the highest point is 335 feet and the old school definition of a mountain was a minimum of 1000FT. It's just gotta be dumb luck since there are real mountains back at his home in Pennsylvania and driving through the Appalachians to get there
Euuuuu! I remember the transmission going out. You took it in strides. Much better than most would.
As always, Thumbs up!😎👍
🙋♀️🌻
👍👍👍👋
Once a very busy Outlet Mall.
I remembered when you broke down
So just curious, roughly how much did that cost to rebuild?? Heading to full time soon and this type of stuff worries me.
I bet you wished you checked the weather forecast cus a big cold front is heading towards you. You should have stayed in Florida for a few more days lol
I did and knew it was coming, but it was time to go! :)
Always have a plan B.. 😮
Did you have your seat belt on , ? when driving to Georgia..
The Coachman has a lap belt due to its age.
See you👋 give Bella a hug for me🤗
food coma!
Think with your long hair. You should try haveing a beard agine
And a man bun
Watch all y videos your volume is to low.
I think it might be on your end unfortunately. Sounds perfectly normal to me. Maybe try restarting RUclips to see if that helps. For some reason I couldn't open comments a few minutes ago but a restart fixed it.
It's fine for me at 30%
