The Love Boat 💙🛳️ was the perfect show to watch on a Saturday night. After the stress of the week, you could relax and enjoy a cruise without having to leave your home. This was when t.v. was enjoyable and brought so many memories to people's lives.
I remember a scene with Florence & Robert at the breakfast buffet they looked at each other with a look of familiar then went their separate ways in different directions
Other guest stars who've passed on: Richard Dawson, Bob Crane, Norman Fell, John Ritter, Vincent Price, Milton Berle, Ethel Merman, Robert Reed, and you mentioned Jerry Stiller but what about his wife and mother of Ben, Anne Meara. She was a funny lady as well!
You mentioned Florence Henderson, but in one episode she and Robert Reed were in different stories but their characters met in the dining room and as they were getting breakfast they looked at each other and did double takes as it they were saying to each other “do I know you?” It was a funny Easter egg in the show…..
“If only Lillian Gish were still with us at 132.” This is auto-mourn on another level. “RIP,” sure. As if 90% of these doomedonnas are still home sitting shiva Van Patten left our mortal coil two decades ago. Lighten up, folks: We were lucky-enough to have them.
The photo you used for Zsa Zsa Gabor's Love Boat appearance (with Leslie Nielsen) is actually Eva Gabor. Zsa Zsa appeared in 1 episode, and it wasn't that one.
I think Jack Jones' dad Alan was also on the show and died, as well as Alan Hale, Allan Ludden, Betty White, Chris George, Bobby Van, Bob Cummings, Ethel Merman, Robert Reed, Robert Alda, Robert Mandan, Sherman Hemsley, Isabel Sanford, Ted Knight, Georgia Engel, and Pearl Bailey.
I used to watch this show along with Fantasy Island. They were a major part of my Saturday night.
The Love Boat was a really cool show to watch so many actors and actresses had appearances.
I watched that show all the time followed by "Fantasy Island."
If a celebrity appeared on The Love Boat, they were guaranteed a spot on Fantasy Island.
I used to love both of those shows.
Thank you
This was cool. I loved Love Boat never missed it with 🍿 So many
Me too

I wish we could go back to those times. They went by so quick! :(
Followed by Fantasy Island.
Very nice John Ritter was on of the funniest episodes ❤

Also: John Amos. Gene Kelly. Olivia de Haviland. Betty White.
And many, many more.
May all these actors and actors r.i.p and they can be the heavenly Father to

It is weird not seeing Jerry Stiller as a younger man. He is so engrained as 70 something
❤

Janet Jackson actually appeared on an episode of The Love Boat as a love interest for Isaac the bartender.
She's still with us.
