My man put a 1/2 cord of wood in his oven. That oven probably was at cooking temp for 3 days!😂

nice series of videos. I'm looking to build an oven myself. I'm just across the lake from you maybe we can get together over a pizza. I did want to say one thing, the shape of the dome is a parabola, this is what you are describing. not a 1/2 dome, but more of a flattened top. this shape is used to radiate the heat towards the center of the oven. I want to build my oven portable, maybe not quite so large, I'm thinking 40" or so. lastly, the other videos I've seen use the refractory in the full joints, not the insulation at this point. do you have to worry about air pockets, seem would be better solid. lot's of questions.
